Re: Scrappy bow ties, SWAP COMPLETE blocks delivered
I pulled out my scrap bin for my blocks. If there was enough to make the bow tie I pulled it, most being squares or rectangles left over from previous quilts. My goal was to use up what I could in scraps without having to cut from any yardage cuts. The only yardage cuts used was for backgrounds.

Tina, I will look for your blocks.
Maryrose, I also went through my scrap bin and started with the smallest pieces first. I really made a dent in that bin, and think this will be my go to block if I ever need a quick quilt.
Val, you are on a roll.
I have my sets all ready to sew into blocks. Thankfully only one was a little short of 6 1/2 inches. It will be quick now. sew, iron, measure.

Lori, I think it's my new go to block too. It would be pretty in just about any color combination and there are so many ways to lay it out. I've been going through magazines and have found quite a few bow tie blocks. A lot of them are made this same way. And you could even make bigger ones and smaller ones and combine them in the same quilt. so many possibilities.
Maryz and Tina, your blocks are here Yay.
Mary, regarding the Mary vs Tina package in my mail box race. Tina's package was on top of yours in my mail box which means technically yours arrived first, however, I pulled Tina's package out of the mail box first so I guess you could say I received hers first. I opened yours first and Tina's second. I say we flip a coin.
You girls are a lot of fun.

Need to cut background for 4 more then all the cutting done. Just have to sew. Will try to get to some sewing tonight. Also want to dig out the pinks/white and cut those.
