Yep, fun, fun Chriss! I decided to go with eight fabrics instead of just the four, mainly because I couldn't decide! Ha....I have them all mostly cut out and marked, so will start sewing today or tomorrow for the last set. I love all the layouts, but can't decide on that either!
Waiting on the next snow storm, but not looking forward to the bitter cold that they say will follow....Have a great long weekend ladies.

Becky, Funny huh? just can't stop at four fabrics, gotta go for 8.

Tomorrow my goal is to sew like a mad woman. Hope you all get to do the same.

Yay Val
I’m making progress today. Not sure where I am as I seem to have a bored interrupting husband. Gotta love him. 🤪

I have two sets completed. Whoo Hoo! I wanted to get them finished because when we arrive back home after this long on the road it takes a few weeks before i see the inside of my sewing room. I wiil wait to mail them, though, as I have lots of mailers at home.

Marygo, I received your blocks today, they are perfect. Thank you so much for joining in. hope to you continue to be a swapper.

Maryz, Seems like you've been away from home forever. yay for getting your blocks done.

Vinae, I will look for your blocks to arrive next week.

I got a lot of cutting done today, but still need to do more. I really have made a dent in my scrap tote. Not a very big dent but a dent.

Don't anyone feel rushed. There is still the rest of January, all of February and part of March to get those blocks done.

Happy sewing.

I didn't feel rushed, these were so fun and easy, I didn't want to stop making them. It was therapy sewing for me. LOL
I really like using up scraps. I think we should do more scrap busters in the future. I need one that uses up 1 1/2 to 2 inch strips. I have lots of those. Maybe log cabins or El's small 6 1/2 inch lodge pole pines. I am sure there are tons of patterns for those size scraps.

Sue, I will look for your blocks next week.

Vinae, I also like to use those scraps up. Amazing how much you can get out of a piece of fabric. I have never made a log cabin block that came out square. Marygo had a great scrap buster in mind. the blocks were wonky baskets. some were almost funnel shaped, some more flat on the bottom and wider at the top. then the curbed handle was appliqued on top.

After breakfast I will be in my room. Hope you all get to sew today too
