SUPPER CLUB Sat, Dec 8
Good morning
Tina, happy birthday to you! I hope, for your birthday, your washer fixes it self! Schlepping your dirties to the laundromat can get tiresome.
Becca, I hope all the work is done at your house and you’re ready for the big snowstorm. When I was little I had a cat named Duffy That was much like your grand kitty, Nelly. Duffy Let me dress him up and push him around in a doll buggy. Or I wrapped him in a blanket carried him in my arms like a baby. What a mellow boy he was.
Jana, congratulations to Kate! I know you are very proud of her and with good reason. Your kids are working hard to make their lives and the lives of others better.
Boy, did we have rain yesterday!! But were we smart enough to stay in out of the rain? Noooo. We went out and did all of our Christmas shopping. Then came back to the trailer and wrapped everything. It’s all packed up to take to Autumn’s house now and tuck under her tree. We are going to her library today. We have been volunteered to help with cookie decorating day with little kids until noon. Then we will adjourn to her house. She hinted strongly that we could bring adult cocoa for afters. So we stopped and got some mocha mix and peppermint schnapps.
I’m not sure about supper. I’m not planning Anything special tonight because we will be gone for quite a while. We might end up with scrambled eggs and toast.

Good morning
Thank you Mary for the birthday wishes
I sure hope that part gets here today and it fixes it, our hamper is full again and it's driving me crazy LOL
Dad is taking me out for supper, no other plans but staying at home and hopefully getting the laundry done.

Good afternoon from a very cold, very dreary, SW. Pa...If only we had some sun but I believe Mr. Sun has gone south, way south!
Mary, It sounds like you were really productive yesterday, running around in the rain....At least you are done! Also sounds like you will be having a really fun day today...Autumn's Library sounds like a special place...
Becca, After hearing about the storm that is to hit down there, thank goodness you've gotten that generator and hope you won't have to use it...I'll probably be talking to Nick later today, he's near Ashville....Please stay safe and warm.......
Tina, Happy Birthday and many, many more.....How super to have your Dad take you out for dinner, that really is a special gift.....We're all hoping you get your washer taken care of...And speaking of, I need to trot down to the basement and throw my clothes in the dryer...Come bed time, I might need those PJs....
Enjoy your day!
Yesterday, our Meals on Wheels lunch was just 3 of us but it was fun...It's kind of funny, when you get our age, you naturally start talking about aches and pains and then all at once, we all start laughing...what happened to those years when you talked about "fun things" and complained about your kids???I then did a little running, needed to go to Home Depot and pick up a refund from the carpet problem, which I thought was really nice of them..I also picked up an order at Hallmark and got a Willow Tree statue for Cari and Matt....I'm really not "doing" Christmas other than a couple little things and this little statue I knew I had to get.....
Today is ugly day and maybe digging out the suitcase..I've been having dreams, where I'm late for the plane and I haven't packed...lol....I am supposed to go to a nephews tonight and then possibly stay over at my sister's but I might just curl up in my recliner with a cat on my lap...Sometimes, it's a struggle just getting out the door....
As for dinner, probably soup or like Mary, eggs and toast.....
You all have a great day......
Happy eating..........

Re: SUPPER CLUB Sat, Dec 8
Good afternoon!
I have dinner in the crockpot - taco soup, but not for us. Sarah is setting up at the Stake Center - church- so needs a dinner for today and tomorrow. She has sandwich fixins and I will run the soup down later to her. Maybe this merry go round will finally slow down!
Our new freezer arrives tomorrow. Stu moved a few things for us, so the spot the freezer goes in is clear.
Ethan is happily playing with the Santa house - a Fisher-Price toy - all the grands love it. The little house and people only come out in December.
I am heading down to work on my found nativity wall hanging. About a third left to stitch. A bunch of angels, sheep, donkey and a shepherd.
Happy Birthday Tina - enjoy your dinner out tonight! Hope the part gets there.
Mary - oh the stickys! You will have frosting everywhere! Such a good mom to help out! Made sure Matt knew about low bridges. His rig is about 11'3". Aaron too, as he needs to pay attention if he has to move a semi. He finishes his training and takes his CDL test on Friday. Yesterday he had to drive up and back down Parley's Canyon, with a 53 ft trailer, loaded! He did fine.
Irish - my Crenda collects that Willow Tree. She has the entire Nativity set as well as others.
Well, time to get something done,
Enjoy!
Jana
