Genesis 48:1-22

Praying for your Children

God has not only entrusted you to care for your children's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, but He has given you a way to bless them as well. Through prayer. The most important thing you can do as a parent is bring your children daily before the Lord and Pray for His protection, guidance, wisdom, and love to be infused into every part of their lives. Ane even though you can't always be with your children every moment, God can. And you can trust that He will be with them in power when you pray.

Each time you interceded for your children, pray that God will bless their lives and give them wisdom and discernment in the choices they face. Pray that He will protect them from the traps the enemy sets for them and that they will follow God and reject evil.

God is always waiting to hear from us.When we pray God hears & what a blessing to know he loves them more than us.Its a joy & privilege to bring our loved ones to God in prayer.I have many but thankful to be able to pray for each one. Becca

How great it is to pray for our children. In the scriptures we are commanded to pray over all that God has given us, our children, our family, our flocks, our crops, over all things, even those that despitefully use us. There is nothing greater than a mother's prayer for her children. Pray for your children, in front of them, that they hear you speak to our Heavenly Father, using their name. It does make a life long impression on them of your love and care.
