Good job, Chriss! Way to go with the twisting! You've got her thinking . . . There will be a bonus in your paycheck this week!

Chriss, I love your new title, the "Twistinator" <giggling>

Valerie, come on down and join the swap. The more, the merrier!

Checking-in, I have 4 blocks done, starting to work on #5.

I have my pieces cut out for 10 blocks. Will get them ironed on and start sewing. Only 5 days left for thinkers... This is the first Valentine swap, that I can remember us having. I hope more will jump in. I hope it will be at least 12. That would make a nice throw size.

Good morning!

Sorry, I've been a bit MIA. We've been with my brother getting him to his doctors and back. A 30-minute appointment is a 7-hour day with all the travel time. But I did get parts and pieces of 14 blocks well under way over last weekend. I hope I'm not being too optomistic!

MARY ROSE - next time we're in Farmington, you are on our list! Or if you could move to Deming you'd have us twice a year. Poor Tina has the misfortune of living practically next door to our usual RV park when we travel to TX. She could probably use a break! lol!

CHRISS aka, "Twister" - a plan to start sewing is a better than no plan at all! I'm glad we're able to fill up your weekends with sewing and your weekdays with twisting!

VAL - Oh it would be great if you joined us. You probably should do the VAL-entine Swap, don't you think??? It could be for your dad! A nice welcome gift for him! And if you sew at your church, no one can find you. You don't have to tell them Which church! By the way, Bill and I stayed in a B & B in Rome, Italy in 2003. One wall of our room had boxes piled to the ceiling and a sheet draped over them. Just sayin', it's one way of dealing with your stuff when you have someone stay with you . . . .

DENISE - you are really chugging along! I know you do it all by hand so each block is a real labor of love! Especially for a Valentine block!

VINAE - no, I dont' think we've ever done a V Swap before. At least I don't remember one in my 10 years on the forum. I thought it was time.

We only have four more days to sign up so if anyone is considering a second set, let me know. I think we have plenty of room for you!

I am loving these loving blocks!

Mary, ha no I don't need a break but wouldn't it be cool if Mary Rose lived here or at least was visiting during one of your trips through..... awesomeness.

Maybe a few more will sign up. 3 more days. If there are 10 of us, we could each make 2 different sets of 10 then we would have our 20... Yep, I could do a different second set of ten. I prefer not to have duplicates, but I am willing to swap a second block with anyone who wants to.

Carolyn, if you're sure you want to do a second set, I'll give you that nice #10 slot I've been saving!!

Anyone else contemplating a second set? or a first set!! Like Carolyn said, only 3 more days!

I have 10 blocks finished. Will see if more sign up. I was thinking about a second set, but not having good health, so I better not.

I think I'll do a second set but was waiting to let others fill those vacant slots first. But I think we've got plenty of room for new folks to sign up as well as second-setters!

With my brother heading into a big surgery soon, date yet to be set, my other siblings will be flying in and my sewing room will become a guest room once again with borrowed beds set up in there. So in anticipation of that, I've been putting the hammer down on my poor little Bernie! She's smokin'! I want to have all my blocks finished before the action erupts here.
