Happy Today! My favorite day of the year! I'm 65 years old and I still get as excited as I did when I was 9!
Yesterday was a bit of a wild day for us. Among other things, Scottie and I were walking and got attacked by two big dogs. Scottie was definitely outnumbered! We had quite a dogfight going on - Scot and me against a German Shepherd and a golden mix. People finally came out and called their dogs off. They said they were coming out to tie them up when we walked past. We took Scot to the vet just to make sure he was OK. No punctures that she could find, just bruised and sore. And traumatized. We both were! The owners paid the vet bill. and we won't walk that camp loop any more! Not without Dad anyway!
IRISH - so glad you have the family there! Maybe you can relax for a few days and let someone else shoulder life.
BECCA - I saw your brother has returned to Hospice. I am so sorry. I'll be thinking of you and praying for peace and acceptance in your family. Did you see your friend yesterday? This is the time we really need our friends.
TINA - I know how busy you are today and tomorrow!
CAROL - I've been to that fabric store in Buelton! Loved it! I've also been to Solvang and loved that, too!
CHICKIE - sorry about the muddy DH feet. I did see a story years ago that I just now recalled about a woman mopping up muddy prints from her formerly clean floor. Another person asked if she was upset at the mud he tracked in. She said no, because those boots also brought in the love of her life. Well, I'm not sure I could be quite so sweet about it, but if there's no hope of changing him, I guess the only thing to do is to change how you look at it. Good luck with that! haha! What movie did you see?
JANA - nice save on the dress! Are you ready now?
Today we are having early lunch with Autumn and Aaron. Then Aut and I are going for mani-pedi's, her Christmas Eve tradition, while Bill and Aaron go shopping. Aaron is sort of a last minute kind of guy. Then we'll come home and watch the Seahawks with our friends in their rig. They get NFL and we don't. So I'm putting some chicken cacciatore into the crockpot to share with them tonite at halftime.
Merry Christmas to you all! My very special friends! I love having you in my life!

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Christmas Eve!
Good morning
I'm taking a few lazy minutes this morning
I stayed up till midnight sewing three labels on so I'm totally done with Christmas presents! Just in time
and miracles of miracles I slept until almost 9 this morning! I've given up hope of getting all my baking done so I'll do just a couple things and give as gifts and that'll just have to do. With watching the kids through Wednesday I just didn't have the time this year. Frankie had been helping me so much. .. He even vacuumed the throw rugs and dusted for me yesterday! I so appreciate him! Tonight we're having tamales, beans and rice. ..I decided I won't make the chili rellenos or the enchilada casserole. .. I'm keeping it simple and quick. I need to
Becca, I'm sorry about your brother, prayers for your whole family.
Irish, I'm so happy for you having your family there, the best of anything!
Chickie, maybe he can help clean up his mess
I don't know if I'll make it on tomorrow but I'm wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! Hugs from me to each and every one of you!
