daily devotion DEC 2

You know I read this verse this morning and all I could think of was this: What if Jesus was in human form today would it look any different to Him from when he was on earth?

Then I started to think back to what I have read in the Bible: murder, thieves, destruction, wars, immorality, and lack of faith were all prevalent in Jesus time---Humm not much difference from our time. We think the world has gotten worse but really it hasn't; we just have the media to show us how widespread and terrible it is. In Jesus time they just had word of mouth.

One good thing we still have in common is that JESUS is our Savior; we will be celebrating HIS birthday in 23 days. Let it be a grand celebration.

Hugs Prayers and God Bless
Izzy

PS: Jana thank you for your light the world post. I have so enjoyed the videos and reading:) I watched LIFT yesterday and was in tears with those grown men:) I recommend you all to take a moment and check it out.

I have often thought that if we didn't have the social media our world would be less chaotic. I was so wrong. I read a book about famous people in our history some were in politics. There were not nice people then just as there are now.

We are so blessed to have Jesus on our side.

They always say there is nothing new under the sun!

Sadly to say, the world will get more wicked, before the end, and we see that in our everyday lives. But as it does, those who choose to live a righteous life are becoming more apparent and it shows, in their deeds and actions. The wheat from the tares are being sifted out.

Satan knows that his time is running out fast. We know who wins in the end.

There is a question in a hymn, that can be asked, Who's on the Lord's who? Now is the time to tell. I will answer, me!
