Turning on the TV to watch the news was so disturbing. The protesting, murders, and unruly world we live in just disgust me. No one out there is looking to the LORD for direction. If they were they would read this verse and see. GOD has a plan.

We must stay strong in our faith, follow our LORD and know HE does have a plan. He is in control. Whatsoever HE creates or sets forth in our path is done with goodness and love. We should rejoice with thanksgiving when we receive that which is from GOD.

Go now sing loudly profess GOD is GOOD!! Maybe our shouts of joy and love can drown out those that are shouting hate and disgust.

Izzy It is disturbing to see what is going on.We never watch the news for that reason.We keep up by computer.If people would only turn to God & see what he offers us & has already done.I am grateful he is in control.With Thanksgiving & praise. Becca

I don't watch the news if I can avoid it. GOD is in the drivers seat, I'm only in the back seat (knowing HE will lead me where HE wants me to go.)

Izzy, thank you for all these inspiring verses and comments each day. God bless you and all who comment here. My mini bible study each day.

I truly believe God has a plan. I heard on a Christian program a few weeks ago that God was going to use one of our candidates, perhaps in a very unusual way, to carry out HIS plan. God's plan is in place and we need to just turn it all over to God. HE is in charge, HE can see what we cannot. WE just need to put our faith in HIS plan and do our part when needed.

God bless all our country and all who work to make it a better place to live. And special prayers and blessings for our military and their families today. Those who wait at home are just as important as those who go and protect and serve. Prayers for First responders as well.

Our son just picked up Rod to go to a Veteran's breakfast up at HYVEE. Rod is a vet and our son is still serving, now a leader in his military group. They invited me along but I feel they need this special time together. We also have a son in law that recently retired from the military. So proud of all who serve.

Yes, there is a plan. God knows the end from the beginning and all in the middle. It is a glorious plan. He will use the good and adversities to achieve His wonderful plan.

The world is getting more wicked every day, it is becoming obvious that those who choose evil are easy to see and the same goes for those that choose to live a righteous life. They are separating and gathering where they can practice what they believe. Just look at the map of how the people of the United States voted. Many leave areas because of the persecution of their chosen way of life.

It's in Isaiah 2: 1-5 , that the righteous will flee to the mountain tops for safety. Those prophecies are happening in our lifetime. The Church will be a beacon to all those seeking. The way we live our lives are an example to those around us. They see the light in our life and want to know more. Don't hide your light under a bushel!

Izzy thank you so much for your devotions. They are inspiring. I worry so much about our country and the way it is going. I too think God has a plan for us and will work through our new president.

All of these protesters and rioters are so wrong. That is definitely not going to bring us together. What do they think that we are all going to throw up our hands and say okay you win?

This is a good time for our country to get back on the right track and put God back in our lives.
