Good morning - again,
just typed out a nice long chatty post and suddenly it went poof! How does that happen?? Anyway, no time to chat now. My son, Mike, is bringing doughnuts in a few minutes. My DD, Autumn, arrived yesterday and it's been so good to see her. She spent a long time with her Uncle Jim yesterday, holding his hand. Now she's sound asleep. My oldest bro flies home today and everyone else flies out tomorrow. then we'll see what happens here. We'll be back to our original few. One sister is hanging around will be all the non-locals still here.
Supper tonite will be the ham dinner by our chef friend. I apparently got the nights wrong so my sisters and our DH's and Autumn ended up in a Mexican restaurant last night about 8pm.

Good morning! I need to go find food in the freezer for dinner... it will definitely be pot luck... DH will be lucky to find something in the pot! Possibly soup...
Today Mom is 98! We'll be going in for a little come and go that my sister is having in town this afternoon. I'm sure she will be tearing Mom away from her quilt making. It's just neat she found her quilting mojo again and stays busy and active. She didn't start quilting until she was 70!!!
Mary--you are running a revolving door B&B for sure! I know you are happy to have Autumn there. How long can she stay?
The hunters are coming back today for 10 days. They are just in and out here--no meals or beds. I offered for DH to build me a new quilting studio that I could rent as a B&B for hunters and recoup the costs, but he said I already had a sewing room and I didn't need another one. Huh! Usually he's so agreeable about things... Of course, that would lead to a long arm machine, and I could see the dollar signs glazing over his eyes as I dreamed out loud. Everybody's gotta have a dream...
I need to go ride my broom since I voted to sew yesterday... Odie will just have to get out of bed... it's late!

Chickie Your Mom is amazing .Glad she continues to sew.
It's been a headache toothache kind of day.Did manage to make apple fritter bread,chicken n dumplings ,Even took a nap which I never do.Am wanting the DDS appt to get here. Becca

Maryz - So glad your family was able to get together for a while. I know this has been very difficult.
Chickie - Happy Birthday to your Mom! She is so active still too, which is truly amazing.
Becca - Sorry to hear about your bad tooth issues. Not fun!!
Now I will tell you it has not been my choice I haven't been here. I haven't been eating either! I ended up in the ER in the early morning of October 26, then ICU for five days and regular room for 3 days. I had so many tubes in me I am not sure when they will all heal. I have a kidney stone, kidney infection and pneumonia. I was very sick. Tonight I am going to eat rice and a meat sauce I make. It is time to get more food into my system. I haven't been tolerating the antibiotics very well and before that it was morphine. I am a total wimp!
