SUPPER CLUB - Tuesday, Nov 1st
Good rainy morning. And I do mean rainy! And NOVEMBER!! It got here so fast! All Saints Day.
IRISH - my heart aches for you as you go through these experiences with Jim. Your decision time is coming up and I know it's going to be hard. Sending you much love. BECCA was right, you have a strong, admirable spirit.
JANA - your enchilada soup sounds delicious. similiar to a SW Chicken soup I make, but yours looks a bit tastier. Making a copy of that.
VELDA - happy travels!
BECCA - you are right - we are making many family memories of this last time all together.
If I cook tonite, it will be the homemade pizza I didn't make last night. our friend, Oona, made the entire family scalloped potatoes and ham so we had supper all together. Tasty! She is a professional chef. Lucky us!
I gotta scoot. I have folks gathering looking for breafkast.

Good morning!
DH is still on tbe mend- this cold is stubborn! So far, i have not caught it, so as the old saying goes, knock on wood!
It's the first, so i need some groceries and will see if there is anything exciting to cook at the store or on Pinterest.
Irish - many prayers from here for you! It is a hard time, but you will make the right choices that will be the best for you and Jim. I told Matt about your eagle cam and he wondered if it was the one at Cape Canveral? He has seen that nest in person and informed me that it weighs over 2 tons! Eagles build big nests!
Well, time to scoot,
Enjoy,
Jana

Good afternoon!
The Hooligans and I went down and played with Ava outside. We are beautiful here, although clouds are beginning to move in. I think it may rain tomorrow and turn cooler on Thursday. Hard to believe it is 77 degrees on November 1! I’m loving it!!!
Jana—I really like the enchilada EASY soup recipe! That will be tried later this week, I think…
Becca—I wish I had a cleaning disorder! Dust fascinates me… I can stare at it for hours then ignore it. I do see MUCH more than DH does.
Irish—thinking of you!!! So glad you like Terry’s new friend. DH and I knew each other in high school and didn’t run into each other until our 40th class reunion.
Mary—how nice to have your dinner made for you last night! It sounds delicious!!!
We had two human trick or treaters last evening and one canine. Ava was dressed in her denim jacket emblazoned with Bark Wild and looked so cute strutting around as biker dog. We had a cute little pink Triceratops and a big hulky “thing”. There are still chocolate chip cookies left…
Dinner tonight… I’m not sure. It’s Audubon meeting, so it might be burgers/salad in town or something here… DH is cutting wood, so it will depend on when he gets back.
Enjoy!

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Tuesday, Nov 1st
Good late afternoon from warm, semi sunny, SW. Pa....Gee it's almost time for dinner and you know what, I don't even want to think about it, lol.....
Mary, I've been thinking a lot about you, sounds like you are very busy, but then, that's a good thing....You really do have a special family.....And what's this about ham and scallop potatoes??? Now my taste buds are really feeling neglected...That will be added to my list!
Jana, thank you for the kind thoughts....The eagle cam that I watch is in N. Ft. Myers, nest to Harriet and the late Ozzie...Harriet now has a "younger man" taking care of her and they have rebuilt the nest and it's looking like we'll soon have some eggs....I am in awe at the size of these nests and watching them build has been unbelievable....Your soup really does sound good and just might give it a try...I am a soup person, could eat it every day....
Becca, I laughed at your having that "cleaning disorder".....There are times when I wish that "sickness" would hit me...But, it is funny what men see and don't see.....
Chickie, thank you for having Tina post the picture of Ava...I love it, she really is a sweetie...I can see why you like to visit....And, I think dust fascinates me also, lol.....I had always said, if you can write your name on the table, then it might be time to dust.....
Today has been a very lazy day....I have done absolutely nothing productive...Jim has been pretty good, even swept the leaves off the porch...The locksmith is coming on Thursday and will put in new locks that use a key...That way, I can have the key or keys hidden outside and inside and won't have to worry about Jim roaming, especially during the night....And I often think, what we're going through is really nothing compared to some of you...This might not be the way we had planned or wanted to spend these years but this is what we're given....I still have him and will do anything and everything I can to keep him with me.....It just makes me very sad to think of what Jim is going through and really can't express himself....I sometimes get "mad" and think, why did this happen but then why does anything happen? There has to be a reason and in time the Good Lord will let us in on his plans.....
And for dinner, it just might be another "must go" night....I made a scrambler for lunch and of course Jim won't want to eat dinner but maybe something small.....Who knows what I might find in the fridge (that's still edible)........Neighbor, Donna, just brought up a box of Snowballs...Might not be ham and potatoes but it might be dinner for me.......
Happy eating..................

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Tuesday, Nov 1st
Hi from "on the road again". We are in Missouri tonight. Actually on the "boot heel", as it is called. Quick supper tonight. I had half of my steak left over from TGI Fridays and fixed hubby a cheese burger.
Tomorrow night we will be in Texarkana,
Arkansas
Don't know much else. But I feel better. Not coughing as much today. That's a good sign that I may shake this virus.
