Each morning when I see the first light I am thankful for another day provided by my LORD. While on vacation we would get up in the morning early, DD did not sleep well in a strange bed LOL.

WE would sit on the porch and watch the fog lift from around the mountain and then be in awe as the suns light would hit the tree tops. So majestic and peaceful.

Looking at it each morning and seeing a new beauty each day. I always wonder how people can look at such things and not believe in a GOD.

May the LORDs light shine upon each of you! I have missed posting these devotions as much as you have missed seeing them:) It starts my day off in a positive and better note by doing it:) and here you thought I was doing it for you LOL:) I too need the WORD daily; I love sharing my Love for the LORD>

I don't sleep well in a strange bed either.

I also love the sun rise, it comes up everyday in my rear view mirror as I head to work.

Amazing, with so much beauty to see in the world why do people make room for ugly.?

Starting each day happy really makes a difference.

Light and warmth go together. Just as the sun rises over my mountains each morning, lighting up my room, the scripture study i do, each morning, lights me and warms me to my core. I so enjoy reading my scriptures each morning.

When I was growing up in Colorado, my bedroom window faced west. I would look at the sun shining on the mountains and think what a great view God made, and how good it made me feel. I would also wonder why people got into drugs and such to feel good. All they had to do was look at the beauty of the mountains to feel good.
