HELLO EVERYONE and WELCOME to October's Lotto. FALL has ARRIVED so this is the time to enjoy those GLORIOUS Colors and Fabrics!!
BLOCK: Disappearing 9-Patch

SIZE: You will need (9) 5" Squares for each block (see picture).
COLORS: STUNNING Golds, Rusts, Greens, Burnt Oranges, etc ...
FABRICS: Larger prints in the Corners with GREAT Coordinating prints and TOTs in the other squares. Make sure you find one for the center that POPs.
LEARNING TIP: No I am not asking for you to be perfect BUT for this block to work (best) it is important for you to LOCK YOUR SEAMS. It will be a lot easier to CUT the BLOCK in HALF (vertical and horizontal) if you have a straight seam to line up on your ruler.
This is what your block will look like when you have finished sewing all 5" blocks together into a 9-Patch and have cut them down the middle both ways.
* After cutting all your blocks, mix and match them into SETs of 4 blocks each. Pin or stitch a nametag across upper right corner.DO NOT SEW THE 4 BLOCKS TOGETHER. Gives more flexibilty to the winners for arrangements.
* If you are using scraps you will need (1) 5" square, (2) 2.5x5" rectangle and (1) 2.5" square for each 7" block
