daily devotion 9/7

Ever play hide and seek? Ever hide from your parents when you did something wrong or did you hide something you broke? We all have done this in out lives at some time or another. You hide a wrong you may have done thinking no one can find it or has seen your mistake. God does! He sees all. Our good and our bad--and there are some bads we wish he never had to see; because we wish we had never done them. We cannot change our past but we can know He is a forgiving Lord and He has put the East as far from the West--in other words, our sins of the past once we were saved and washed in His blood are forgotten and forgiven.

Move forward--don't try to hide from the Lord. Walk daily with Him in His Word.

Hugs, Prayers, and God bless

Izzy As a child this scripture was very convicting to me.I used to think even if I hide in a dark closet God would still be there with me.Now as an adult what a comfort that brings just like when I was small.
Thank God I know my sins are forgiven. Becca

Repentance is so wonderful. What a gift it is in our lives. Daily, i look at what i have done and see where i need to do better and use the steps of repentance so that i may have the Lord's spirit with me at all times.

We taught our kids that there are four people you never lie too. Your lawyer, your parents, your Bishop, and the Lord. Insert big smile!

He is there to bless you, even in your wrongdoings, if you but turn to Him.
