Do you wear a cross? Most croses of today are of gold and silver and may even be embedded with semi precicious stones. They may even be a family treasure something handed down.

The cross is precious for another reason, too-- it reminds us that God's love for us is unstoppable. Did you know that early Christians never wore crosses as jewelry; they would never have displayed a cross on the walls of their homes either. Do you know why? Because the cross was unimaginably horrifying. The pain; the shame; the terror; We can scarcely imagine it.

So imagine this. You are so precious to your heavenly Father that He gave his Son up into death for you on the Cross! Jesus sacrificed himself willingly for you --on the CROSS! That's how precious you are to God.

May you wear your cross with pride knowing how much was sacrificed for you!

You know, Izzy. I used to where my cross all the time. Even with other jewelry. Then somehow I just started wearing it when I am going to church. And even so, sometimes I just forget to wear it at all.

Your message reminds me, that I should wear my cross every day. When you feel it, you know that Jesus died for us and will never leave us and will comfort us always.

I'm not a jewelry wearer. And I don't have a cross necklace or bracelet. I guess you could say I wear my cross in my heart.

Izzy ,Yes I have a cross that has a diamond on it.I used to wear it everyday when I worked,now only when I dress up.I wore it to always remind me of Jesus.
