Iread the 2nd chapter of Habakkuk this morning to see where this verse was leading us. The verses before it are:
18What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
19Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
Oh how true this verse stands before us. Those that worship idols and false gods do so because they feel they are spoken to in this life with actual signs and words. Some worship actual people on earth now and some who are in cults a leader who they feel is a prophet of a god. NOT TRUE and we should stay as far from these evils as we can.
Our one true God is in Heaven silent sitting upon HIS throne. He hears our prayers and if they are to be answered now or later He answers them. Be wise and follow HIM if you want Him to speak to you pick up your BIBLE and read it. Those are HIS words to us daily here on earth:)
Go now and say nothing against the True LORD and Savior! Sing praises!
