Today is ugh-lies day. Will get them done, but plan on leaving some time to work on Sues today.

Here is Kenya Sue Sample....I haven't sewn her yet, she is only bonded. Parts of the dress that look orangeish, and the basket are the fabrics from Africa.

Kenya Sue looks fabulous! I'm still auditioning fabrics for Switzerland Sue, but think I'm almost there. I'll post a picture once I have the first Sue at least bonded to the background.
So far the Sue's I've seen are wonderful! Joan

Loving your 'Kenya Sue' Joan! She's just wonderful!!

I'm thinking I eventually shall have to split up all of these 'Sue's' when I have them all together to make 2 separate quilts for my 2 DGD's... That should be interesting!!

Wow, it's March 1st and time for the official Sue swap to begin. I wonder how many more girls will sign up?

I wasn't able to work on mine as I had planned this past weekend. Hopefully I will get an opportunity to work on them some this week to make up for lost time last week.

I love the way your Welsh and Kenya Sues are turning out Jacquie and Joan.

I'm excited to finally get back to our International Sues! I chose Romania for a reason. Some of you might remember that I used to be a semi-professional dancer and many of our shows were centered around the Romanian culture including dances and costumes. This little Sue's outfit is almost identical to my Gypsy costume of yesteryear! Shes brought back many wonderful and fun memories.
