Remember the saying "sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me" when you were a kid. Well this verse shows you why; we have an ultimate protector!! Knowing verses in your bible will help you overcome many adversaries. I have used several over time myself. As I get older its harder to memorize the verses but I sure try.

Put GODS word in your heart and mind and no ones verbal attacks will ever hurt you. They may sting our outer flesh; feelings but they will not take us down!

That is a great Bible Verse for our day. You are so right! We do need to remember verses. That has always been hard for me. I always marvel at those people who can quote the verses from the Bible.

I need to try harder and make myself to learn a new verse every week.
I should right one down and repeat it over and over for the whole week until it gets branded on my brain.

Yes, He is our protector!

Even now I have a hard time remembering chapter and verse, but remember the keywords and use the search program on my computerized scriptures to find what I am looking for. Helps me alot!

I will have part of a verse pop into my head, but don't remember where it comes from in the Bible.

Izzy We do have a protector that guides & also gives us guardian Angels .Bible verses are such a comfort.VBSchool & Sunday school is where I learned a lot of mine.
Vel I write the verses on index cards & repeat them a lot .It is very helpful to help you memorize them.God bless each of you. Becca
