OOOOh I did look at the sites and marked them to show DH:) We so want to go to TX for a trip and we love stuff like this to go see. He has an art background and we love to look at old ruins and old buildings and such.

that's cool Izzy, I'm assuming DH stands for "Da' Hubby"
El paso is the perfect place for artsy people. If you do go, put in your list to go see "Viva El Paso". It's an amazing show in the outdoor amphitheater out in the franklin mountains, we call it McKelligon Canyon. the show is about how El Paso came to be with Jarabe dancers, and the works. I lived there my whole life and still went every year
Oh, btw, on the second row, that colorful round thing on the left, next to the "sombrero" is a female jarabe dancer. they picked the wrong fabric I thin, because you can't really tell what it is until you have the instructions. A jarabe dance is colorful mexican dancer with a big flowing skirt. here's a picture of what they look like. But it's also a very homey row. Can't tell I miss home, can you?

So far the grand total is three, but there are about ten shops right near me for the getting. The one at Floyd and Lizzie's in West Jordan is the one designed by my BFF. I taught her to quilt and tole paint many years ago.

Re: ROW BY ROW 2016:Mailing Posting trckg:)
My boss usually brings me back a souvenir from where ever he goes on vacation. This week he went to Florida. He told me what city so I went to the RXR map to see if that city had a participating quilt shop and they do!! So I told him for my souvenir this year I wanted the free row and license plate and gave him all the info. His wife called me at work yesterday telling me they had 2 different rows and 3 different license plates so she wanted to know if i wanted it all of it or which ones. Being that it was my bosses wife I said only 1 of each but no knit. She said the lady told her that the store had been in alabama and they moved there so they had a row for alabama and one for florida. told her to pick the corresponding row and plate, which ever she thought was prettier. so if we don't have florida or alabama gals on our list, we will at least have a row for it
Don't know which though, it's a toss up. I'll share the pic when he returns next week
