As we continue to look as Psalms 95 the next verse also tells us to make a joyful noise. My DH did a paper in one of his bible courses on worship services: oh how they have changed over the years. In the day, worship services could last all day on Sunday with preaching, singing and on grounds meals then back at the preaching and singing.
Today, a worship service is quick and all about making a person feel good. There are a lot of false prophets in the world who are also leading Gods people astray with false doctrine or no doctrine at all.
I have been watching a documentary on National Geographic about Who is God? It amazes me all the different ways people worship and see God or a god. REMEMBER the bible tells us there will be many false gods, with the lower case g due to not the real and most impotent God!
Be aware, go now and serve the true GOD and make a joyful noise unto Him.
