Hi everybody, We are in full Mardi Gras mode down here. We go to a few parades here on the Northshore. We have given up on those in New Orleans, since they have gone sleezy and dangerous. Many natives take vacations this time of year to get out of the craziness.
Has there been any word on how Rob is doing? As a heart patient myself, I hope and pray he is ok. More prayers going out to those in need. Stay warm and no more falling ladies - we don't bounce! I know from experience! AbitaQuilterMom

Abita--somehow I missed this! I've been missing you at the table... when I get there myself. Of course, we ARE eating... too much usually. It's good to hear from you. There's no place like NOLA for Mardi Gras! How fun!!! My dad was there once, many years ago. It would be fun to see some of the parades. I'm sure it's more of a tourist thing than a "native" festival now. I would love to hear the music! Take care and stay safe! Hope to see you at the table!
