Re: Bloom Sew-a-long
I finished this week's block - just couldn't make my brain wrap around her measurement of the heart piece, so I punted and measured from the center, up along the stem, 1 inch and placed the tip of the heart there. Looks good to me. LOL It left me plenty to square up and have seam allowances.
Computers are here - just patiently waiting on DH - we will see how long I am patient! He may not be here to see his next birthday if he takes too long! LOL

Chickie, all that you're doing with Tasha sounds really cool! I hope we get to see pix
Jana, I'm not a patient person.
Well I think it's official, I've lost my mind! I had about a 4-5 yard piece of WOW for my background pieces and I had cut my first 8 blocks, went to cut the rest today and I can't find it anywhere! And the other fusible I had wouldn't work butt I found some of the right kind here in town, bought her last 3 yards. I'm turning them now but I have no background to attach them too. I'm going to see if I can get more when we go to Cruces either Friday or Saturday. I still can't imagine what on earth I did with it, I haven't used any WOW since I started these, unless I've forgotten about a swap since then?! Ugh!

Re: Bloom Sew-a-long
This weeks was easy. Mine is done and up on the design wall - it is a happy quilt!
Still waiting on my new computer - it may be my birthday before it is up and running - my birthday was in February - so maybe next year's! LOL
DH has had some consulting work that has taken him away - that is fine - I will get some more cotton money out of it!

Re: Bloom Sew-a-long
Of course, looking around on the Bloom sew along site, I just saw her new sew along coming out - Christmas! It is so cute! I will have to make one - you will need the Blooms Christmas templates, so I will get that at my LQS and the fabric is to be released in May!
Go and look - you will get hooked! LOL
