SUPPER CLUB - Wednesday, Nov 11th
Honors to all our veterans and their families. Where would be be without their sacrifices?!!
Just to let you know, our Irish is on the disabled list - she is in bed with strep throat. Lets all send her some cyber chicken soup and penicillin so we can get her back to the table soon!
Yesterday I made and canned 11 pints of salsa. Then I made my gift list. Sigh. Gotta make another whole batch, I guess. Apparently we are very generous people. But that's for another day - Perhaps next week.
We have a little leftover cooked macaroni, so I'm going to fy up some hamburger and onions and add in the macaroni. Then green beans on the side with a salad. Voila! Supper!
What's on your menu for tonite?

Thanks to all the vets & those now serving.Your sacrifice means so much. And to their families.
Beautiful sunny day here.Took a 4 mile walk & it was gorgeous.Helps clear my mind.lol
Irish I had been thinking of you & missing your post.Rest & get well soon I hope.
Maryz guess the salsa needs to produce more. The list can get longer all the time around here.
Pizza will be served today with salad.Ice cream later if anyone gets hungry....Becca

Irish--I'd send you some of my creamy potato soup. It would go down nicely on your throat, and it does have chicken broth in it! Get well soon!!!
Mary--you are definitely a generous person! Everyone will enjoy your salsa, and be sure to keep some for yourself!
Mom fell yesterday, and my sister took her to ER. Nothing is broken. She was pretty anxious about the whole thing, and I think the visit to ER reassured her that she was going to be o.k. Now she must use a walker. My job today has been making a walker caddy so she can carry her phone with her. I was going to take her some of my potato soup, but my sister said she had already made some. I know Mom really likes my sister's soup, so... more for us! I'm going to take the walker caddy to her later this afternoon. I used a pretty purple batik fabric and trimmed it with lime green batik. Hope she likes it!
Becca--I want pizza!
Jana--I love the "can't spank grandma!" magnet. My DD rolls her eyes with me. I love it!!! I love spoiling the grands!!!
Last night I didn't get the soup made soon enough for DH, so we finished off our Chinese take out. Tonight... potato soup... always better after it has been in the fridge over night so the flavors really meld. I can't wait!

Good evening!
No time to eat - gotta quilt! After the thread fiasco, finally got one that works, I am about halfway through Tanner's quilt - want to finish it tonight - so DH will be on a fend for yourself dinner.
Enjoy!
