Good late morning from an overcast, little damp, warm, SW. Pa...We had bright sunshine early this morning, then a hard rain and now, not sure what's going to happen.....

And for those who haven't heard, This is National Bald Eagle Day...Back in the early 80s President Reagan set this day to honor our regal eagle...

Today is minor ugly and little laundry day...Just a load of clothes that go in the dryer...It's almost too wet to work in the garden so gee whiz, what am I going to do the rest of the day.....
I just heard, one of our local churches are asking for supplies to use for comfort quilts and/or someone to make some....I'd say, this might be my next project...With bins full of odds and ends, should be able to whip up a few.....

And this being Sat., just 2 more sleeps and maybe Mr. Schwann will be here....That would sure start out my week in a good way, lol....

And our dinner might be another hit and miss...Although knowing Jim, he'll probably ask for hot dogs...With a side of baked beans and a salad for me, couldn't be much easier.....

So what easy dinner have you come up with????

Hello Irish,& others,

Irish Send me your rain please,the quilt project sounds like a great idea.That is what the Church I help does.

My DSIL is going home from Hospital after 26 days.They plan to come back to NC as soon as she can travel.They are full time RVers & this happened inWVA.

With our company not able to come our day changed.I dusted beans in garden & took my walk.Then piddled.Plan to read & take it easy.

DH wants hot dogs too because he has his fav.slaw to put on themAlso potatos with butter.For me banned food. Becca

Not doing a lot today. Mowed yesterday. Going to finish my cross stitch gift project for my friend and watch the U.S. Open Golf tournament. Need to get this project done before I get back to my quilting.

I think for supper I will make pigs in a blanket, salad and some strawberries.

Good morning,

We have tbe heat! Beautiful here in the Mountain West. Just hint of white clouds.

Dinner will be out in the deck tonight and for afters is a fireworks show. The city shoots them off for Herriman Days. Just about a mile, from the house as the crow flys. But since we are so far north in latitude, it isn't until about 10 pm. All of the cities in the valkey celebrate their heritage, many with fireworks and since we have a view that covers more than 18 miles across the valley, we sit on the deck and watch them. Even the 4th - you never know which way to look! LOL We have daylight until 9:45 each night - wonderful!

Dinner will be something grilled with fresh peas from Sarah's farm.

Hi friends.
I am late getting in here today. I have been sewing most of the day. Too wet to be outside. Even walking the dog, he gets all muddy from the mud puddles. The grass has standing water in it all over. Ugh!

Finally the sun came out and it is sooooooo muggy, you can't even breath!!! So we ended up putting the A/C on.

Planning to do the mini meat loaves again tonight. DH must have really liked them, because it was his idea to ask for them. A nice big salad will go good with it. Of course DH always has to have a potato, so I may just microwave a couple. Maybe green beans for a vegi.

I am enjoying working on another quilt top for our church. I will add the picture to the post I made the other day under Photos.
