Good Morning All.....its raining stair rods.......

Surprised to see me this early.....so am I!!!!!!!

today we should be at the Malvern Quilt Show.....but due to the wet weather....we are still at home....there is quite a long walk from where we park to the show hall....and Sir was going to go walking while I oooed and aarrd and spent what would seem like our life savings......we are hoping tomorrow will be a dry day.....

I will try and get back later.....just off to do some refreshments.......

General Lady Carol, nice to be early. Sounds like a fun time at the quilt show. Lots of walking will probably make you sleep good tonight. Hopefully the rain will subside and you will get to do all that you planned.

We have dancing tonight. This will be our pizza night. No dishes that way.

Don't know if I will get any sewing done today.

Gen. Lady Carol - I hope the weather lets up because we want you to see the quilt show, spend your kids' inheritance, and stay dry!

Last night we cleaned up the leftovers and tonite - no cooking!! Yay!! In fact, no cooking for the next three nights! We're meeting 2 other couples at a restuarant called Tanglewood tonite. Tomorrow, we're going to Warren's Asst'd Living facility to have supper with our usual suspects there. We reserve the private dining room. Saturday, we're going to my son's house. It's good to be me! But then it always is!

Good morning from sunny, but still a little chilly, (for me), SW. Pa...But, it's going to warm up and be purrrrfect!

General Lady Carol, what a nice surprise, seeing you here this early....Sure hope your weather improves and you get to do all the fun things you had planned...AND yes, that does include spending your kids inheritance as Mary said....

Mary, we always did feel it was good to be you...I don't know if I like the idea of you out and about and not cooking that many days...You might learn to like that way of living and who would be our mentor????

Velda, your day sounds purrrfect, also...Makes me smile when I hear when you talk about your dancing...I think that's great and sure wish I could get Jim interested....

Well, UPS was just here and delivered the new mower...I'm going to tell Jim it's for Father's Day but I'm thinking he figures it's for Mother's Day...We'll see if my hands fit around the handle...Who knows, I might actually like using it but some how have my doubts, lol.....Today is laundry day again....Hey, the sun is out, that means sheets on the line......

As for dinner, the chicken ala king didn't make it last night so that's on the menu tonight, for sure....I had too many exciting "ventures" yesterday and was just plumb tuckered out so poor Jim had to eat a small pot pie I found in the freezer...Didn't even get to those cinnamon rolls so hopefully today...But, not to worry about Jim's sweet tooth going without...While we were shopping yesterday, some how donut holes jumped into the cart.....

Vel, I miss dancing, we used to go all the time but now there aren't any bands that play. At the family reunion they always have a band there, same one for the last 50 years )
Mary, yes it is good to be you ) enjoy your vacation from the stove )

I'm not sure yet what will be for supper here. We haven't had banned food for awhile so I'm thinking that might grace our table tonight. It's better tonight anyway because Mary will be away from the table tonight LOL

I had to get groceries and errands this morn.donuts for DH so I will not have to bake.

I have a saying for my kids when it comes to inheritances - Being of sound mind - I spent it all! LOL

Dinner - we are having soup weather out there - so I will probably make a pot of some kind. Plus my cheddar biscuits.

Mary, cover your eyes!!! There's a MUTINY here!! They are all eating banned food...

Tonight I'll cook!! Chicken fingers, mac and cheese (the real stuff) and a vegetable of some kind...probably peas and carrots..and maybe some biscuits.

Yeah! Dan is gone from Survivor...
The Reds won the baseball game...
and tonight we will watch the recorded DWTS..the elimination. And American Pickers.
