Judi, the mug rug swap catches my attention :-) maybe everyone make 2 and send them to the hostess and she sorts them so each participant gets 2 different ones back :-) or 4 or? :-) Sounds cool!

I think I have the list caught up properly. let me know if I missed your idea.

O'Dorothy, how about a strip/charm swap where we fill a box with then and send them to the next person and it could end with me and I will just use what's left in my hexi project? We could even stuff a lot in one of those pre-paid bags. it would be scrappy rather than color specific and the strips would have to be at least so long and everything 2 1/2 inches wide? Let me know girls because we can start this any time.

I really like the notion swap. I think we went two rounds before junk started to find it's way into the box. We could limit fabric sizes to anything between a FQ and a yard. I think with the cost of postage we might start with a medium box and I have plenty of stuff to get us started. We could also start this any time.

Judi, I think times have changed. Vinae, Tina and I talk often, we keep track and we will follow through on our fine print rules. There are still bumps every so often but the way the rules read if you don't follow the swap rules once you get one more chance then you don't get to participate in any of our swaps. I think we have tweaked our hostessing skills enough to run a productive swap. And we all have spines which is an added bonus. I hope you will give us a try.

Maryz, you have been telling me forever that a jar swap would be fun. We will do one.

So, here's my next question. What about two swaps overlapping eachother. We have been having swaps run in a string and blocks seem to come in way before a swap is over so what if before Vinae's butterfly swap was over Tina started on her next swap? Then I overlapped her a bit? You will still have two months to do a typical block and a little longer for applique. Or do you need longer for applique. let me know.

keep those ideas coming,
Chriss

Summer will be here soon - how about ice cream blocks - bowls or cones. Also, a few round robins would be nice for a change.
