Miriam.Thanks, again..

..I have some of that quarter inch graph paper that you can cut out reusable templates on and use that when necessary. I prefer to draft my own blocks also or look at a couple other sites that may have duplicate blocks or any of El's books..I enjoy both sew-alongs, also.

..As far as HST and El's way this is one of the VERY FEW exceptions I make to her way and using another..I LOVE the way a video from the Fons and Porter site shows to do them..I use that way to do my pinwheels and am working on this last one using it..there is no drawing!..and as far as sewing around the block and stopping a quarter inch in that is not necessary..just speed piece each side ..it doesn't matter if you sew into the corners..they get cut off anyway..and now that I think about it as far as only cutting to the sewn line when folding the geese to cut to the seam line to iron the flying geese..no worries if you cut just a TEENY snip over the stitch..you cut that off, too!..and it lies much flatter to trim up your geese..

..ok..I'm getting off subject...need top finish this block...Sonya.
EDITED for spelling and to add something...
