Izzy- Wow! Nice chicken and flowers. That sure is a lot of work to sew those down.

Mine will be a bit simpler. I am doing a watering can with tulips. I have to work out the bugs a bit as I am drawing them freehand. I will post a pic later or tomorrow.

Izzy, I love the colors you are using... great chickens..they must be hens because you said they were just laying there... ha ha... get it? hens lay eggs.. I'm so funny..

Vinae, I love tulips. A watering can is a great vessel.

Lori, you can make a pieced basket and applique some flowers in it??? make it easier on your self...

I will figure out my block this week.. Anything can become a vessel.

Did you notice the Rooster also laid eggs LOL. I am only using my scraps no buying fabric with the exception of wow:) I just ran out and I have 6 blocks done:))

Yes, Vinae a lot of work. I did 3 in sew in tonight and it took me 2 and half hours to set the blocks up and applique them down. WHAT WAS I THINKING LOL:) I do love them though:)

Tina, did you get to work on your blocks?

Izzy, I noticed your rooster laid eggs. Just figured that was the way things were done out in Kentucky.

I have picked a pattern. and will get it ready to go today.

I am also using scraps. Maybe I need to think about hosting a "use up your scraps" swap.

Hope we get a full swap.

Chriss- LOL you are right! I guess roosters lay the eggs out there where Izzy lives.

I think I have my block kind of figured out. I will try to post a pic later. I cut one out of scraps to try it. It think I will be using up some scraps for the tulips, so they may all be different fabrics. The watering can will all be the same though.

use whatever you have on hand. and if you think of more than one vessel, make it. It's all up to you girls with very few "rules"
