SUPPER CLUB - Wed, Dec 10th
Happy Hump Day!
We are out of leftovers! Hooray!! So, to celebrate, tonite we are having Mexican something. It might be tacos or tostadas, or enchiladas, or it might even be something layered - chile relleno casserole or taco casserole (I just made that last one up, but it COULD be a real thing.)
Whatever I make is going to require a trip to the grocery store though. My pantry in the trailer is a lot smaller than my pantry at home (which is a converted coat closet). I miss my home pantry, but I can't let myself go down the homesick path just yet. We have another month here before we even think of starting home. We're staying through Autumn's Jan 10th birthday. I'm wondering what Foxtrot will think when his new home starts to move . . .
anyway - I digress. What's for dinner??

Pizza here tonight! We ate most of the casserole last night. I'm going to have to figure out some cooking tomorrow.
You have my mouth watering for Mexican again. I like your chiles rellenos casserole, tamale pie, taco salad, nachos... anything!
Hope you don't get the homesickness until you are 5 miles from Gig Harbor!

Good morning from cold, dreary, wintery, starting to snow, SW. Pa....There, you have it all, YUCK!
Mary, normally, I'd say, you dinner sounds great but I'm not too into Mexican, sorry...Of course, it could be, I've never been exposed to the real thing...I remember Kathy telling me after she moved west and started eating the "real deal", she couldn't get enough...I guess what we have around here are fake, lol....
I would love to see the expression on Foxtrot's face when you do start traveling....With our furbabies, they're only in the car to go to the vets and that's only a 5 minute trip......
As far as our dinner, it will be something in the oven or a pot of soup....I do have lots of peppers in the freezer from last summer so I'm thinking maybe stuffed peppers and some kind of potato...Of course my menus are always subject to change....I had baked cookies for a meeting at church so Jim is still in sugar heaven.....
Happy eating..................

Good morning,
We did eat yesterday, take out chinese for me and chicken for Michael.
Tonight will be wonderful white banned soup and cornbread. It was punted the other day - bumped by tortilla soip - but today it is!
I am cleaning up the kitchen - a cookie bomb went off!
The beautiful weather is here in the mountain west. Temps near 60 and no snow. The sun is shining and not a cloud in the sky. This is more like the weather I had in California. But alas, all things have a end, snow here in the valley this weekend.
Enjoy,
Jana

I guess I am going to make spaghetti tonight. We haven't had that for awhile. I always love a nice salad with it, too.
Hope you all are having an awesome "hump" day. This is our sewing/craft day. Going to teach some how to make the folded quilt ornaments.
Plan to take some pictures, too.
Eat well, my friends!!!
Hugs

Irish, Earl and I aren't into Mexican food either...
Tonight was pork roast in the crockpot with gravy, Sweet potato medley (sweet and regular potatoes)roasted in the oven, peas and Grands biscuits..Earl's new favorite.
Cloudy and gloomy...but tomorrow the sun will shine!! I just feel better when the sun shines even if it is cold. Maybe if my RA cooperates Earl and I can do about an hour of Christmas shopping...fingers crossed!
