SUPPER CLUB - Sun, Nov 30th

Post by purrfect-lady » Sun Nov 30, 2014 1:28 am

Good Morning After!

We had such a good time yesterday with our little gang of quilters. We hit an LQS, Hancocks, and lunch. I know I had a lot of fun! Lyn, Cindy, and I have carroused together a couple of times before, but we got to indoctrinate Honey to our group this time. And she fit right in and spent $$ right along with the rest us! Always fun to meet new Sisters in Cotton.

It occurred to me halfway through the day that I chatted about everything but supper yesterday! Guess I was anxious to hit the shops! We had chicken cacciatore over egg noodles. Bill cooked out in his dutch ovens. We invited Cindy and Don to join us but they had leftovers they needed to clear out so we'll be eating their share tonite.

This morning, we head back to our regular campsite - 3 hr drive - and, after getting all set up again, will dive into some serious uglies, go visit Autumn, and maybe sew a bit on my St. Pat's swap blocks (2 days left to sign up!).

Hope your weekend is going splendiferously! Now what's for Sunday Supper?

An early Good Morning MARYz & all who join us.

Yesterday was a productive day here.Got lots done but not so today.Trying to get prepared for DS to lay our hardwood floor in den next week.Packing up books & dishes from cabinet.Too heavy to move loaded.Seems there is always something being uprooted. So is life I guess.

Well too early to know just what will appear on table.Still have ham which I never tire of.Will add salad for me & probably baked potato for DH.Still have pie left & cookies.DH finished his truffles.

Have a wonderful day....Becca

Mary it is always fun to get to meet the rest of our group...as well as other quilters... and fun to shop with them... and eat with them. Great weekend!

I helped DH with wood and walked with the dogs on the trails while waiting to load wood. It was a beautiful day and too nice to stay inside.

We will be having ham tonight... and for days to come. It is really good. DH likes his as a sandwick so I will have to bake bread tomorrow

Good afternoon,

Sounds like lots of fun and heat build up yesterday!

I have my stock all made and chilling in the refrig for noodles on the 8th, as soon as we skim the fat off the top, it will go downstairs to the freezer until then. I will have all the family over for dinner that night too. But the girls will be doing more - getting big meals together overtaxes my hip. I am paying fir it today. Lots of Advil, the 5th food group! LOL

Dinner here will be something Mexican with leftover turkey.

Enjoy,
Jana

I'm almost at supper time making it to the table LOL better late then never? :o) WE're having ham tonight with a baked sweet potato and maybe a salad, gotta start eating Paleo again :o) don't want to stay off the wagon for too long :o) we pretty much only have ham and a tiny amount of turkey left, we've had leftovers everyday with someone else here helping so they've gone fast :o) a good thing!
Well DH is calling saying we can eat LOL so I better get going.
