brother XE VM 5100
ok quilting friends does anyone have this machine I need pros and cons of it looks a lot like some of the babylock machines, I did not know till recently babylock and brother machines are made by same company this has a wide bed area it does quilting and embroidery its a lot of money to spend on a hobby but they will give me 2000.00 on a trade in with my babylock espire which I think this looks like a upgrade from what I have and the lightening is great on it

Did you see the review posted at Pattern Review? It's for a VM5100...didn't find anything with the XE part.

Well I purchased the brother dream weaver 3000 quilting/sewing machine this week it was with great hesitation that I traded my Babylock espire that eleanoR signed for me in 2008 when I purchased it in Paducah mine was not as good as some others were had lots of problems with it that was never resolved at Babylock dealers I took it to the brother seems to be made possibly by same company but I'm loving it so far especially the lighting
