Crossed Canoes The green looks a little different in the photo.

Lori, that's a neat block. Beautiful sewing! I think Lois made an entire crossed canoe quilt a few years ago, for her brother or nephew.

Getting the points to match is a bit of a challenge. Got half of the sections done today. Will try and finish them up tomorrow. Lori

Izzy and Lori, awesomeness! I didn't get anything sewn at all, not even cut out but man oh man DH helped me clean out my sewing closet and I've got everything sorted and refolded and organized! Happy dance here for sure! I have 1 bag and box to sort through that my sister gave me before she moved in July, I'll do those tomorrow and Frankie (DH) can help me clean my shelves off above my cutting table, I can't reach the top 2 very well.....hopefully these few things will get done in the morning so I can work on my blocks in the afternoon and then hopefully finish them on Monday so I can start on UFO's :-)

I haven't gotten anything cut or sewn either. spent yesterday de-cluttering.. I have just over 60 quilt magazines and I don't know how many pattern books I don't need anymore.

Today Mar and I are going shopping. she has money that she MUST spend, and we need groceries.

so it looks like I won't be sewing till this afternoon.
