SUPPER CLUB - Thurs, Nov 13th

We're not to Texas yet, but close enough that the "language" is rubbing off on us! lol!

Chickie, it was fun to be able to spend your birthday breakfast with you before we left yesterday! Hope you had a nice day after our dust settled!

Sonya, happy birthday to you, too!

Last night for our supper we had ham and eggs and pan-toasted toast with Chickie's homemade bread. It all tasted like ambrosia after a long day in the saddle. Tonite, it will probably be pasta using some of Chickie's homemade pasta sauce and sliced kielbasa. Did I mention that Chickie's place is THE place to go to stock up your larder?

Tonight we should be in our winter campground near Austin. Can't wait to see my little girl tomorrow!

With the cold and rain we are having, I am seriously thinking about some noodles and chicken. That's just good ol' comfort food!!

Sounds like you had a blast with "chickie". OMG! Happy Birthday, Farmchick, I forgot to look at my calendar. Hope you had the best birthday ever with Maryz.

Good morning! Since DH took me out for pizza last evening, tonight will for sure be smorgasbord with addition of pizza.

Good to type at you - I have lost my voice - thank goodness the grands are being very helpful and good, so I don't have to talk much. The cabinet maker is coming and I will talk as loud as I can to let him know what I want. Of all days, LOL

Dinner is out tonight - getting in practice when I have no kitchen. Tee-heee!

Posting late here. We had a late lunch today.

I'm making Chili with some ground Venison friends gave us. It will be good on a cold night on the Texas coast.

MaryZ - Hope your travel day went well. I understand the anticipation of hugging DD.

Jana - So sorry you have lost your voice. Maybe the grands can hunt the house and find it for you. Don't let the cabinet man put in a 2 year old cabinet! That's the one in a corner with a small door that only a 2 year old can get stuff in and out of.

Jana - Could you do me a favor and run to North Salt Lake to Handi Quilter and put my order on top of the list?!? I'm told it may be 2 more weeks before they ship.
