Re: christmas ornaments
I'm making Christmas ornaments that are folded fabric squares covering a Styrofoam ball.
If you look at the link billizy posted, you'll find one a couple videos down on the list.
They're very pretty!

I also checked out the other folded fabric ornament. Wow! just saw those in a quilt shop yesterday. They were so pretty!!
I have to get my hands on some Styrofoam balls now!!
Thanks for sharing.

Izzy - Thanks for web site! Easy and pretty.
Velda - I watched Izzy's link and couldn't figure out how you needed Styrofoam balls, until I reread posts here. Those are cute too.

Re: christmas ornaments
Ok!
I finally gave in and now making fabric ornaments from the Crouton guy. I am starting with the patchwork ornaments. I have cut out the diamonds and was sewing on them until I realized there is a 'Y' seam - ACK!!! Anyway, I completed it and starting to like that seam.
I will make a few more and go back to my Amish Potholders.
The excitement is contagious for the ornaments, potholders, etc. Thanks to you all for keeping it fun and exciting.
