Today's the day! Family Hallogivingbirthmas! Whew! Been busy this morning! Got everything prepared but the turkey breast - which is too big for crockpot so will go into the oven after all - upside down.
TINA - glad to give you a chuckle! Tell Frankie he can come up here any time he wants and get all the fresh 'mac & cheese' he can round up! Fingers crossed for a puppy!
CHICKIE - oops! my bad! Sorry you didn't hear about NSM until yesterday. In my defense I would think those of you who insist on liking it would do your own research! lol!!
JANA - I guess now's as good a time as any to try indoctrinating your little ones to the ways of PNW "edibles". Poor Logan! How scary for him! How old is he now? Did you know that the more folks in a family that have appendicitis attacks, the more likely the other members are to have one, too. It can run in families. Same with fractures.
BECCA - you and Frankie can share my share of the 'fresh food'!
JOANNE - Well, something GOOD has to come out of all the suffering you go through with your RA - no heavy housework! Lucky you have a DGD to give you a hand thouogh.
I'm all ready for family. Here's the menu: Turkey breast, mashed garlic red potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, asparagus, green salad, rolls, black/green olives, dill and bread & butter pickles, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Others are bringing veggie tray, fruit compote, corn pudding and bread pudding. I think we got supper covered! lol! Then tomorrow, we're doing it all over again, only subbing ham for turkey, and swapping out the guests!
So now you all know what we'll be eating for the week ahead! lol! If you don't hear from me, you'll know I'm laying in a corner, bloated and moaning!
And you all can forget cooking for tonite - come on over to our house! We've certainly got plenty!

And we got the puppy for Mom and Dad!!!!!!!!!! She's a sweetie and she's going to church with them tomorrow LOL I told Mom that I don't think they allow dogs to go but she said a few others take theirs so she's going to also hahaha
she's so much happier today then she has been, Dad said as soon as I told her we'd go get Tinkerbell for her she became animated and started washing up baby blankets and toys to be all ready! It was so good!
Becca, today we had Holly, Jazmyne and Easton! LOL we went in her suburban and she drove most of the way. Her jerk of a boyfriend went hunting again! Drives us crazy! My son asked me what we're doing tomorrow and I told him grocery shopping and then I'm staying home! He said that was good I told him I'm planning on at least one nap and he said he would allow that LOL, goofball I thanked him though
See you tomorrow at the table I hope anyway!

Darn that CRS!!!!
So here is my Saturday post:
No cooking tonight or tomorrow. We go dancing tonight for our last night, here near Shelbyville. We were hoping to leave on Monday, but now we are still waiting to hear from Dr. on an additional test that DH had to have done.
I hate having to wait. We may have to wait until Tuesday to leave and then we don't know if we will be going south or north.
If it is good news, we head to Texas. If more tests or treatments needed, we go north to park at our son's house for a while.??????
I hate the unknown.
So tonight, it is eat out and same with tomorrow night. Then Monday will be up for grabs. You may not see me on here for a couple of days. But I will keep you posted when I can turn on computer.
