Paypal to buy patterns

Hi Ihave a question. I tried to set up a paypal acount so I can buy epatterns. Today I had a Notification on my account asking me for a piture ID .....prove of adresse and my social security number...which I should dowload as picture and send them . Did anyone have problems like this too. Help would be appricated.

DON'T DO IT! I work with Pay Pal often and have never been asked for my photo ID or SS#. First make sure the email is actually from Pay Pal and not with a / and other letters or numbers. Go directly into Pay Pal and NEVER from email links. Please use caution.

Thank you Ronda. I will never give that information. I was just wondering because I never heard of it. I guess I will have no paypal then. hugs

I agree! Don't do it! We get scams all the time and they sound just like this. Pay Pal doesn't need your SS#.

Pay pal ask that? Unusual! Never had to do that here either..
Usually they ask to which bank account you wish to attach it to..
You'll need to fill out bank acct # but read all info before signing on.. Don't rush it..

You can also use credit cards #.. Yeah! cancelling good idea! Can try later date.
