SUPPER CLUB - Sun, Sept 14th
Kinda late today. We got an early call this morning to go to breakfast with my brother and SIL. As soon as we got home, off we went into the yard doing some LONG-neglected chores. The part of the yard I got done looks so much nicer. DH mowed with the brush hog but there's still more to do tomorrow. For us both. Lots of leaves are coming down already.
Now here we are, settled down in front of the Seahawks game, next to the washer and dryer and here's where we'll be if anyone is looking for me!
IRISH and BECCA - how are your patients doing?
TINA - if you play your cards right, you might be able to put off that F--H another day!
CHICKIE - how are you having your tomatoes today? lol!
I was thinking of putting a stew into the crockpot this morning, but forgot. So. . . . . I think we'll have more ham slices, baked sweet potatoes and salad.
Hope the cookin' is easy at your house tonite!

Good afternoon!
Just checked(as if I needed to),it's 108.
I just made some tuna salad and stuck it back in the refrig. so that it'll be really cold. Sorry Mary, dh doesn't like fish either but according to him tuna isn't fish!!!
Everyone else went out to eat?

Good aftrrnoon,
No, we are eating here at home. Still have the taco meat - heres the recipe I am trying - fry and drain ground beef, I use ground turkey. Add package of taco seasoning, a can of refried beans and a can of tomato sauce. The recipe did not say size of can of tomato, so I am winging it. Stir all together and put in corn tortilla shells, place the filled smells in a greased or sprayed with Pam, cassarole dish - top with cheese and bake at 350 for about 10 minutes. Top out of the oven with your favorite toppings. This is tonights, so will let you know what happens.
Mary - yes, in a matter of speaking, I am getting two dishwashers. They are dishdrawers that stack on top of each other and only take up the space of a regular dishwasher. Each of the dishdrawers work independently of each other. They hold a day's worth of dishes for us two here. I use them both when all the family shows up. The dishdrawers are made by Fisher-Paykel.
Enjoy!

Taco filling is great - the shells were wimpy - would make great enchilada filling, or burrito filling, could also be layered with corn shells as a cassarole - the possibilities are there - so it is a half winner.
