Yay Kathy! Yes piecing is what I will be doing. I would have rather done applique, but the machine I am using right now won't do as great of job so piecing it is for me this time. I am sure you will figure out a cute block. I found a cute tree that is pieced that I am going to try. I have to re-calculate the measurements first though. It is for a much larger block.

I just love these swaps, getting such beautiful blocks in such a variety is most awesome.

Will have to look at fabric and blocks before I decide what I am going to do.
Pretty sure it will be pieced.........

IZZY - you have a fall break?? I've never heard of that. you could use a 6" Dresden Plate as a sunflower.

Forgive my interjections here. I'm drooling over all your ideas. But for now I'm holding back because my sewing room won't be operational for some weeks to come yet and I would hate to not be able to complete my commitment to you all on time.

MaryZ- are you re-modeling your sewing room? I bet you could get your blocks done in a couple of days, you are so fast. I hope you will be able to join in the fun. We are having droolable blocks!

I can hardly wait till we get some pics of them.

Marcia- My daughter is begging me to do two sets so she can have one too. LOL I will see how it goes. We only have 2 months for this one, so I am not sure I will be able to do 2 sets. It is funny how I still do so much for my kids. I am making the Halloween one for my other daughter. Well,let me know when you decide after you think about it.
