We have lots of rain here yesterday morning and all through last night. They SAY it's going to clear by tomorrow, however, so we can have a family BBQ. Though it's not cold and our deck is covered, so I guess we can sit out there anyway.
BECCA - I'm wondering at what point your kids will cross the Rockies. Or do you think they'll go south, see Grand Canyone, and take a southern route to avoid the higher mountains? They are making such fast progress!
Tonite we have a cooked chicken breast to split. We might just have chicken sandwiches and open a can of Chunky soup. DH would like that, I think, since tomorrow will be a big eating day.
What's on the menu at your house tonite?

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Sat, June 28th
Good morning from warm, sunny, purrrfect, Sw. Pa...
Mary, if you don't mind, keep the rain out there, just don't send it east...We've now gone 2 days without rain and it will probably take another 2 to get things dried up...It was great for weeding yesterday but now my toes are starting to web....
Becca, after being out west and seeing those mountains, I can't imagine anyone crossing on a bike...You must be so darn proud, what a feat.....
We really have nothing planned for the weekend, I think...So our menu might be "mustgos" and even though I haven't been home that long, there's a bunch in the frig...Might be nice to not have to think about planning and just eat what you want...Might have to bake a couple of pumpkin pies, been promising one of the DGS.....
Happy eating.............

Good Afternoon.Just got home from QOValor.Always tired after.
MARYz I think the rockies nut will ask Denise to find out.It blows me away to think about the trip. She goes within 2 miles of him & waits for him.I am amazed at what they are both doing.Hope the BBQ is good!!!!
As I was gone it is leftover beans & rice.I did pick green beans & cooked them for later.
Have a great day..Becca
