happy Today!

Our potatoes on the grill last night were purrfect! Great idea, Joanne! Cut up, S&P and butter and onion added, wrapped in foil, and cooked in the closed grill for 40 min. Yum! And so easy!

Tonite, DH has been whining for one of Papa John's new taco pizzas. We have a coupon and we keep forgetting to use it. So, if we remember, tonite is the night.

Tomorrow we're going to a dinner party. The hosts said last week that they were going to call another couple, who were still on a month long trip to see when they'd be home and try to arrange the date to include them. She said she'd get back to us. Well, they never did. Then last night DH called the husband about something else and good thing he did because all the plans were made - except they forgot to call and tell us. We're supposed to take an appetizer. now I'm in a quandry. Looking for something different than my usual offerings. You all are my go-to group. Thoughts??

Mary, I or I should say, we love, love potatoes done like that but I also throw in some baby carrots...Now you have me thinking and drooling but no, I already have dinner in the crock pot...

I've been wanting to have stew for a couple of days and today is the day....I figure Jim will be at elderly bingo and after I get some uglies done, I'm off to buy more plants so good day for the crock pot...

And I'm going to behave and not stay on the "puter" like I usually do...Catch you later....

Good Evening All......It started off as a nice day......and then the heavens opened up......and I got soaked......spitting feathers......

I have to ask....has anyone seen those new (to me)Quiltsticks.... I think they must be a new company.....so don't think they are available over here....but will make enquires....

Had a most productive afternoon.......frogging about.....lets just say a large number of triangles from the CS blocks.....however on the upside.....I now know how to do a Scant 1/4 inch....it does help if you read the instruction book.......

Well, the day is over already! Darn! We had all the leftovers...BBQ chops, potatoes, Mac and cheese, meatloaf...so tomorrow we start over, but Earl mentioned going to Mama's.....hmmmm.

I was happy that Merle won DWTS...but not happy that Tony won Survivor...but I didn't much like the three remaining people anyway.
