CAROL - What a bummer about the bus! I love places with history. We were in Nottingham in 2003 and went into a pub that was built into the side of a rocky hill - in the year 1050 or so! And we had dinner in Holland in an old building built about the same time. and here, they tore down our Kind Dome stadium after only 25 years!!

BECCA - I saw a group of butterflies like that once when traveling in the Northwest Territories in Canada. They were yellow and all clustered in a cold firepit. I think there is a name for this phenomenon. Guess I need to do some Googling.

IRISH - I don't like Brad Pitt either. But I do like that cake! and we have another name for it here on the Left coast. You can probably guess what it is . .

Tonite won't be cooking. We're having dinner again with Warren and Lois. I usually get a pasta dish they have, but I'm open to variety so we'll see what's on their menu tonite.

CAROL Do hope you get to keep your bus.Imagine that means a lot to folks getting around.And I too hate to see Historic buildings torn down & our favorite places gone when we go back looking forward to them.What a let-down.But good you found the Fabric shop.

MARYz If you find the name of the Butterfly happening let me know.It was a thrill.Think it is so great that you visit Lois & Warren like you do.

Well we had to go to town for DHs hair cut.He was not up to it yesterday.And we bought a lot of goodies for a care package for Levi.And our 3 DGs are coming next week for a wk. so lots of goodies & treats for them.Easter Baskets down to 1/4 of cost.And so on to Subway we went.So no cooking....Becca

Good early afternoon from "summer like" Sw. Pa...I've gotten my wish, we're having those summer like temps..During the night we had a very heavy rain with all the added features.. with every thunder clap or lightening strike, I kept thinking of the eagles and wondering if they were OK....And speaking of eagles, my babies are getting big, been exercising those wings getting ready for take off in another month or so....Exciting but will be so sad to see them go...

Carol, so sorry to hear about the bus..Maybe if enough people do protest, it will stay...I also love to visit "old" places and hate to see some of them being torn down. Of course I could say, if I want to see something old, just look in the mirror or look at Jim...

Mary, enjoy your dinner with Lois and Warren...I'm sure they love having you visit...

Becca, those butterflies would be a sight to see...How exciting, having 3 DGs visiting...Goodies galore!

Well, not sure what our dinner might be, BUT, I have fresh ground meat and left over macaroni salad from last night's party... I think it sounds like grill cooking to me...Just hope there is enough gas in it, haven't used it since last summer....

Good Evening All......a rather chill wind blows this way today......
We handed in our letters today on the Aber bus......the man "in charge" of transport lives in one of the villages we go through.....so they were delivered "by hand".....no chance of them going astray.....quite honestly I don't think any of us are holding our breath over this one....will be very surprised if we win this one......but we live in hopes......

Maryz....this CS thingy is hurting my head.....so to get me back to normal......I have made 3 fabric boxes.....very pleased with them....so now.....head doesn't hurt so much......I feel almost normal.......

todays menu......Shepherds Pie with the last of the lamb leftovers....hey....I"m getting a dab hand at leftovers now......for afters Apple Doughnuts....all the Jammy ones were sold out.....

PS....did hear today....that lovely old Coaching Inn....."they" thought it was going to be a Pizza Place.....wwwhhhaaatttt....now my head really hurts......so hope that's not true.....
