quilting book
I am looking for a good book that has bargello patterns. What's your favorite book with bargello patterns?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: quilting book
I have a couple of books, but I hesitate to make a recommendation since I haven't gotten anything made from them... yet!

Oh, I know what that is like!
Sometimes I will buy a book just for inspiration.
Sometimes, for relaxation, I like to go through my mags/books and just enjoy the pics.
Thanks for replying.
What are the names of the books you have? Maybe I can get a peek inside them, if they're listed on Amazon.

Re: quilting book
I have two bargello books.
Twist-and-Turn Bargello Quilts by Eileen Wright and
Beautiful Bargello from House of White Birches - a how-to book by bargello designers.
I made the one on the cover of the second book, using the colors of the Northern Lights for a quilt for my Alaskan brother. The directions were easy to follow but you DO need to make the chart they recommend and tape a small piece of each fabric to the chart. it will keep you from getting lost. But I loved this form of quilting and plan to make another one one day.

I also have Twist-and-Turn Bargello by Eileen Wright. Another is Bargello Quilts by Marge Edie. It came from a garage sale. Another is a pattern called "I used to be a layer cake" by Nancy Altsman of Black Cat Creations. I have a layer cake ready... Now for more time...
