Good Morning Pals
Looks like I am the first up :) por last to go to bed??? Prayers yes for the Fort Hood families.
It has been a whirlwind of trips to the PO, phone calls with DD (braces need repair and hurt plus she found an apartment that she will live alone in. She is an adult and knows what she wants. Hey I am getting good at saying that), GRACE Co, APQS, quilting and learning to joy of the quilting computer. Loads of fun when it saves what I created and it actually listens - LOL!!!! I was scared poopoo to turn it off so I stayed up to 2am finishing Jamie's R/W/B quilt. Not going to tell you how much pain I was in when I went to bed or how tired I was but I was glad it was finished. I don't ahve pictures yet because I sent it over to Cindy'd for her to flip the binding. I like to share the wealth.
Now I will share with you that my machine HATES with a PASSION Masterpiece Pre-wounds. Out of only 5 rows the only row that quilted with No breakage or ran out of bobbin was row 3. The only thing it made me Master was how to repair the pattern after I fixed the breakage or reloaded the bobbin. That and I learned NOT to quilt with Connecting Threads thread. Soooooooo much lint I ingested from blowing it away from the needle I had a hard time swallowing and woke up this morning hacking my lungs out. Other than this I am WONDERFUL!!
Today is quilting over at Jamie's and I have my R/W blocks ready to slam the peddle down to the ground - LOL!!!!! Plus she is getting a SURPRISE that Rob made her!!!!! ooooo I can't wait!!!

Jana - Can't wait to see your Lotto Blocks & how your Gardens grow :)

Glenda - sorry I can't help you but I got married in 1979 and 1991. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Leah - I did the same thing and forgot my camera at home when we went to The Glendale Show. Good thing I had my phone :) :)

Chickie - THANK YOU sew much for sending me some MONKEYS. I absolutely adore them and am having so much FUN, FUN, FUN!!!! It is going to be so hard to send them back BUT at least I get to add some good natured FUN!!

I best get some sleep now. HUGE HUGS to you ALL!!!!!!

Good morning Teresa and those that follow.
First off my thoughts and prayers go out to the people on Fort Hood. When I was still working at AT&T, one of my co-workers daughter was stationed there when the other shooting happened. I don't know if she is still there or not. We found out that hubby will be having chemo and radiation at the same time. Today he goes to the dr that treated him before for his Lukemia and tomorrow he has his simulation for the radiation treatments. I am hoping to get out to my studio and get to work on the memory quilts for my girlfriend. I love when I get UFOs done and out of my studio. Have a wonderful day.

Have errunds via transit, what a wuss I become, can't wait to be home already. Just love the time sewing, blocks. Yard work will be greatly appreciated this summer.

Good morning all! Just a quick stop in before breakfast. I am meeting several friends today for lunch at Bob Evans. That should be a good chatting time. We try to do it once a month. Then I have to buy a new lamp before I come home. Sewing time this afternoon since it is going to rain. Good excuse as if I needed one.

Have a good day everyone. Prayers for all who need them today. Will check back later.

Good morning.. it's going to be a quick day at work...and I have some side projects to do just incase I get the time,,, I so love to keep busy.

this weekend one of the churches in town is having a fabric sale $2 a yard..

Becca, I bet a walk in the park was beautiful... wish I were there.

Kathy, I never thought of using the island in the kitchen to baste a quilt..great idea.

Cindy, that quilt is beautiful.. I really like it.. glad you are getting answers on your hip soon...

Maryq.. guess what happens Saturday??? I will be celebrating by going to a fabric sale..

Jules, sorry you're stuck in the house... our air is great here, maybe you need to come to Cali?

Sharona, your bible study sounds fun.. I read a book about women of the bible... I had no idea there were so many of them.. even though some were mentioned briefly they were mentioned...

Maryz.. sorry about your insurance... I just got e-mailed the statement from my insurance, the ear doc charged them $180 to clean wax from my ears.. a one minute procedure... and they say athletes make too much per hour... my doc makes $180 a minute...I think doctors are equally responsible for messing up health care and I often hear of their making mistakes..

Florence, our schools were delayed 2 hours yesterday for that dusting of snow.. enjoy your sister.

Jana.. wow, Stu is an Eagle scout.. he grew up pretty good didn't he... give him a hug and tell him I'm proud of him...

Mel... sorry it was so quiet at work.. can you play music or something to make noise..you aren't there alone are you

Sherry, glad to know social security worked so well for you.. it is so nice to have things fall into place so well.

Izzy, you really got a lot done yesterday....

Judi , how nice that the pellon stuff all worked out.

Sharon, I am the cool people... lol... hope Cooper loves his shoes.. did you pick a red and white block yet?

Lois.. glad the bird house mystery got resolved.. Vinae is a great hostess.. I also love her swaps.

Velda, I always read yesterday's posts in the morning..I feel kind of jipped when I see that tomorrow's post is posted today...lol...glad you're having a nice trip..

Sosew, glad DS didn't ask you to lengthen the short part of the shirt.

Teresa, what did Rob make.. which pattern did you settle on for the R&W blocks.. happy slumbering.

Suzette, prayers for DH.

Leah, nice of you to let your kitty sleep in...

Kathy, hope you come back soon

Judi, prayers for your friends...

Izzy, happy sewing day

Sherry, enjoy lunch and lamp hunting.. sounds fun.

it's time fo rme to go to work.. you all have a super day
