Welcome from one of KHO's Missouri friends. You have two wonderful teachers. I'm sure they will make sure you are successful. This is a great group to ask questions, so ask any time.

Hello there. How do you ever get anything done with kho's stories of Polly (I can't remember her name right now). She and Snow white are great friends to help you.

Sandy, I will put the sashing on my UGRR tomorrow. Got the fabric from Peace & Applique in Rochester out of the mailbox on Friday on my way to visit DGSs. Haven't done anything about Drunkard's Path. what are you going to do?

Sharon and I have a class to teach Tuesday night. I will have to get all the supplies together tomorrow.

MOST of the ice was gone when we got home. There is still some on ditch banks and under tree rows. Rivers are flooding from all the melted ice. DD lives 3 hours south of us and we had a gorgeous day there Saturday. It was in the low 70s.

Karon,
I don't have to tell stories about Dolly. She is in the sewing room and can make new ones with Abby and Rach. She was coughing the other day when Dori was here. Dori heard that real quick.

Bring your UGRR and I will make a note to bring mine. Gary told me I couldn't bring it because it would take up valuable fabric space. If need be it can ride on my lap.

Warmer today but we still have a lot of snow and I think there is more coming in. Flooding should be interesting when things melt. The great lakes are 90% frozen and that doesn't happen often.

Looking forward to seeing you and glad you found the fabric you needed.

Sounds like so much fun!!! I wish my DD shared quilting with me, but alas... Her DD has made two little quilts with me, so at least it will stay in the family if she sticks with it. Of course, my 95-year-old mother didn't start quilting until she was 70... perhaps there is hope for my DD afterall.

Come join us in the sew-in! A huge welcome to you!!!

Welcome hsmomof4, Rachel

I am fairly new to this site also and I can guarantee you that everyone here is ready and able to lend a helping hand. Visit in SewIn and keep up with daily stuff......

My Mom taught me quilting when I was very young, used to take me to her "quilting bees" and I played under the quilt frames mostly, lol. Most of what I know I have done on my own by trial and error, watching TV or books. There is a wealth of information available to you from various sources. Not only can the members here help you out with quilting questions, they can lend a sympathetic ear and give out words of encouragement.

So welcome aboard, sit down and sit a spell.

Joyce
