Butterfly Pattern

Post by tinal67 »

I was so thrilled to catch Quilt in a Day episode 291 (2002). It aired on my local PBS station on February 1, 2014. In it you made a beautiful Butterfly Applique Quilt. My first grandchild, a girl, is on her way and due in May. I would love to make a quilt using the pattern and technique you shared in that episode, but I have not been able to find the pattern for the butterfly. Can you help me, please?

Hi,
I think you are mistaken about the episode number. In our area Eleanor's programs have been from her "Quilts through the Season" book. You can look for the video online under the "Television & Video" tab at the top of the page. Look for the episode there.

Oh, just thought of something. Call Customer Service. They may be able to tell you which episode is showing in your area and what book it is in. You could also try looking at the PBS web site for the episode. Sometimes you can replay it online.

Yes, you can watch some shows on PBS internet, if you have you.tube access on your computer, Eleanor has other classes you can see.

Saw one the other day Eleanor and her sister. I loved it, Baker's dozen.. About 20-30min. My eyes get tired so I can pause and return later.

She has a blog site, I think!
