This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice in it.

The dr called to check on me yesterday...I was impressed that she would call on a Saturday. I got the extra probiotics and started it. Came home and had to lay down. Felt yucky all day. Did nothing again.
I went in the sewing room last night and got all the pieces cut out for one Sylvia block but just couldn't do any more so I went to bed.
C-DIFF and Flagyl isn't for sissys like me.

I'm staying home from church today. Hopefully I can at least get that one block done.

Keep looking up,
Vicky

Morning girls.......so so sorry I haven't been around, I am so behind on all your news, but I send you love and prayers everyday.

I am not coping well with losing Oliver, I hve never known sadness that went soooo deep.....I am dreading the funeral on tuesday, I try to be strong fr Charley - she is really feeling it and then when I do get some time on my own I just completely fall apart

Charley got her tattoo yesterday, its lovely, it just says Oliver in a really nice script and shes happy with it :)

I'm still working on my birdhouse blocks and they will be on time :)

It was my sisters birthday yesterday and she managed to spend an hour with Oliver at the funeral home.....they wanted to close the lid on friday as he was starting to deteriorate, but they made an allowance as my dad used to work there.....my mum and dad aren't coping well, they look like they'e aged 20 yars in the last 2 weeks

Sorry I'm rambling, but that's how my brain is working at the mo, it's all over the place.....I'll get back when I can, I send love and prayrs t you all, speak soon xxxx

Good morning
Today I plan on finishing my third SBS block for the week. I also have dishes to do as well as laundry. Must also get ashes out of wood burner.
I so hate this snow we got another three inches yesterday. Living in the country is great unless we have a lot of snow.

There was an accident on our road at the curve a young man put his suv down a 30 foot drop. I found out why when I went to town It is
like an ice rink after you get just past the curve. I went flying all over the road stopped by putting the rear end into a ditch.
The young man I found out was not hurt although the top of his car flattened.
I hope you all have a great sewing day and stay warm .

Good Sunny Morning....

Another shoveling day & I'll salt/sand so I can get out to the quilt guild meeting. I'll check their web sit mid morning to be sure there's a meeting. I have to get out of the house besides shoveling.

Teresa......sounds like a yummy Ann meal. Good for you! I'll check on our newbie.

Lyn....I'm sorry to hear of your new water problem. I wish there was something I could do to help. Please keep us posted.

Suzette.....I hope you get caught up....I never will. Pieced backs are the best.

Dolores....Hope you get to sew today....

Lea......I have 4' of snow up against the back of my house, thanks to the wind. What damage do you think it will do to the house? I know I am not going to shovel it. It's 46' long!

Judi....good to hear from you & know you are doing OK. Hope you warm up real soon.

Lois....I heard before we hit the 50's we have to have snow 1 more time. Who believes it's really hit 50!? My next snow is Tues.

Maryz.....A scrappy boarder sounds great but then so does going to Joann's where you might find your 'heart's desire'!! I love that cook ware. My DD1 has the Dutch Oven it's 13 lbs empty!!!

I'm off to dress warm & get the shoveling out of the way.

Love & Prayers.....Kathy

Lyn: Wow, I have not been able to talk in person to you. WHAT a MESS!! You and DH have had sooooooo much trouble!!! That's so hard to deal with when you are so far away.

We always worried about those issues and had our son checking our house often. We were lucky to not have a problem like that to deal with. We had hot water heat in our house too. Now, DS is the owner of the house and we are free from those worries.

So sorry for you. I will be seeing you later today, hopefully and will give you a big HUG!! (Like that will really do anything???) But I do feel so bad for all the headaches you are dump with.

Boy, this is a busy and talkative day. I started reading and all of a sudden there are many, many posts.

This weather is getting the best of everybody!! We keep tabs on the storms as we have our children scattered about and like to keep up with what they are dealing with.

We will be off to church soon. I will add an extra prayer for ALL of you. Yes, (This is the day that the LORD hath made, even in all of our troubles, Let us be glad and rejoice in it!!!)

Love to ALL
Velda

Will see how I do with only 4 hours of sleep.

Thank you all for your warm thoughts and prayers. Hope my DD gets up the mountain early. I just got a winter storm warming for Estes Park on my cell phone. More snow starting early this evening. Security guy says that there's already concerns about flooding when the snow starts to melt.

JULES - I'm sending you a big hug. The loss of a young person is just so hard. I know you are trying to be the shoulder for family, but you need a shoulder, too. We are all here for you and wish we could give you hugs and a shoulder to cry on.

VELDA - Thanks. Will visit with you later today.

VICKY - I'm sorry you are still not feeling well.

SUZETTE - You are getting so much more done than I, way to go! I may have to check out that magazine. I will be organizing my sewing room again, some day.

DOLORES - Hope you get to the sewing room and hug some fabric.

LEAH - Sounds like a good idea to get snow away from house.

GRAMMIEQUILTS - I hope you get to warmer weather, it's not fun when there's no water in the rig.

I've missed some of you and some have probably posted while I was slowly typing/reading/typing. I guess some of you have this screen up and a word document together so you can get everything down then copy and paste here. I'm not able to do that with my Acer tablet.

I have my birdhouses fused and will sew today. I'm going to push myself to get as much done as possible, in case I have to make that trip. I also remembered that DH has some friends heading this way after Feb. 22nd. Don't know how long they will be around, once they get here.

May you all have a good day. Prayers for all you wonderful friends.

Good Morning Girls

Oh what a beautiful day.... for now! The sun is shining but it's cold. Just watched the local weather report and guess what MORE SNOW coming tonight. They're already predicting a few inches to make the morning traffic to work.. in a word.. messy!

Teresa.. How fun to bring a quilter into the fold!! Can't wait to get my SP name... Sounds like you and Rob had a great Valentine/Anniversary day and a great deal for lunch! Wishing you many more happy years together!

Lyn... Oh my Gosh, I am so sorry to hear of the troubles at your home in CO. Hope your DD can get up there in the snow to check it out for you. What a disaster. You must be just heart broken to have to go home and face that. You will be in prayers.

Velda... HUGS are the best! It won't fix the water damage, but give Lyn lots of hugs from all of us!

Kathy... be careful out there shoveling! I finally did a little yesterday myself, felt kind of good to get some fresh air. My neighbor does the driveway for my, but I need to do the steps into my house. I never some in that way-always through the garage, so I thought I'd better throw a little salt on them too!

Kathy2.... Good news that that young man was not hurt.. A 30 foot drop! You be careful out there too!!

Jules... my heart goes out to you and your family. How great of Charley to get tattoo to honor her cousin. I pray every night for God to bring you and your family comfort.

Vicky.... are you feeling any better?? Hope the meds are kicking in and that it doesn't take too you long for you to feel SPRY and ambitious again! For someone that is always busy.. this must be tough on you.

Maryz.... You're making a Sunbonnet quilt! I still have the one my Grandmother made before WWII! Hope you are having a GREAT time in Tx.... Autumn likes to cook?

Lois.... changing sheets is on my TO DO list today too! We'll be laundry partners today.. Tho I'm going to sneak in the sewing room today while Mr. Maytag is doing his thing.

I'm going to quit for now as DS2 and family is on his way over and I need to clean off my dining room table so we can sit and chat. I'll be back later

Morning all.

I don't too well this morning so we are skipping church. Last nights supper is kicking my tummy and it is my fault since I cooked it.

We had our usual flurry of snow again last night. Our weather forecast changed from 40+ tomorrow to snow and ice mix. ICK!!

I did say that I haven't been doing any sewing but I have done some crocheting. So I am going to post my project in the pic section if anyone wants to peak. I do have the able prepped for some sewing today so I finally get to get some stuff completed. Only uglies that will not involve pictures.

Good morning!

Just a quick note, I am sitting in the Church pew waiting for the meeting to begin.

We found out what is wrong with FIL, it's C-diff. Thank you Vicky for all that you have posted. Gave me a heads up. The home where he lives put him in quarrantine for a few days. There were six other cases there as well. We are on the mend now.

We had a fun BD party last night. When I was served my cake, both Ethan and Emma were in my lap, so I was sharing with them. If I wasn't fast enough, Emma just leaned over to take her own bite, just like a kitty. LOL

Well, everyone is now showing up -
Prayers and lots of hugs,
Jana

Good morning :o)
Lyn, I would think your insurance would cover the plumbing breaking, I'll pray for you.
Jules, Prayers and (((((HUGS))))) sent your way.
GrammieQ, you can come here, we've been in the upper 70's and yesterday and today in the 80's, you are welcome anytime :o)
I'm planning on sewing today but one of my DSIL showed up, they are out back working on their trailer so depends if they come in if I'll need to stop. I'm bad..............and I know it LOL They don't really come to visit, they have a travel trailer parked here they are gutting and redoing inside and a flat bed trailer they bought for I have no idea why LOL They live in AZ and come down every so often to work on their stuff, they have property just west of us that they've drilled a well and getting the electric and septic on so they have a place here too.
I hope you all have a wonderful day! Prayers for those in need.
Tina
