Re: Thursday, February 13
Hello everyone , I finished my 1st king quilt , and made my 1 st dust ruffle to go along with the quilt. And the ruffle just made the quilt look so put together. I had enough for a top treatment for the window too. Now for the dressers! One thing for sure
,there's enough SNOW in pa. I gave in yesterday, and played ball with my grand dog, cold, snow and all,we had fun. When he'd stop to catch ball,he would slide about 3 feet past. Looking forward for the 40 degrees next week. SoozG I have a Burnt belly from ironing that ruffle last week. Enjoy the sun for me too. Scrapquilter48 I agree the cold is the worst, day in and day out.

Good Heavens....I've shoveled 2x(so far 9"),shaped the bread(in the oven). Now I can sew.
Sooz......love you fabrics especially the scissors!
Suzette....you'll have more snow than me!
Lea.....I know everyone is dissing the snow.
Cindyg....I told my sister I was bring her & her son's family some bread so I'm not worried about eating too much.
Shirley Mae....I'm so happy to hear you are alright. What a scare! Praying for both of you.
There goes the buzzer......

My mouth is very sore. While I was there I mentioned I thought my other crown was loose from a root canal done last year. Well he wiggled it and off it popped I almost swallowed it LOL sooooo he worked on that one too. No charge thank goodness.

happy weekend to me... I was going to sing it to you but I thought that would be bragging and I don't want to be a bragger.. so I will hum while I type...
Sooz.... very pretty, love your blocks.
Judi, how nice to have a shelf.. if you don't find carpet you can use that stuff that you put in drawers to keep things from rolling around.. I just used it for the cubby in my car and it's wonderful.. I also put it in my cupholders.. huge blessing.
Karlene, I bet you love steal the baby day... it's good to be you.
Cindy, three yards plus 8 FQ's... that's one bunch of hexi's...tell you what.. if we ever go out you eat the food that doesn't touch adn I will eat what does touch... deal?
Lori, oh my gosh, what a pretty quilt.. it's going to be gorgeous.
Shirley Mae, great advice about your size and medicine.. hope the appointments all go well...
O'Dorothy, I think before you go to fla you need to turn that night vision camera you used towards the house so it can peek in and you can see what Jim is up to... I bet it's fun at your house...
and now it's time for dinner... you all have a groovy night,
Chriss

I just posted a picture of row A of the SBS quilt. I may have reconsider if I want all 140 blocks in the quilt. It makes it very large.
