Well Sophia barely made it through the recital...She kept telling her Mom she wanted her Grammie,,,,but I was already gone to mu seat. She made it throught her number did most of the routine,,,,finally near the end she spotted her Mom in the audience smiled a big smile and all was good. I called toys r us and asked about this toy Liam wanted and they said sorry sold out....so I searched on line and found it and ordered it...phew! so I went to the hallmark store and got a birthday card for Nolan, and found some beautiful candles for my DDIL...it was on her list. so I am officially done wityh my shopping,,,,,and yes every year I say I am going to start early....sometimes I do....and sometimes I don't. But this year I really mean it,,(fingers are crossed behind my back) Hope you all have a great day,,,,we will need to take Liam home in a bit,,,,,he grabbed Pa and said "I am coming home with you" so he did....He and Pa have been hanging out together all day...xxxooo

Good late afternoon to all,
I took my machine in to be serviced so I will not see it again until Jan. That is okay because the Christmas tree goes where the sewing table sits, so the machine is down and the tree is up. I'm more of a minimalist this year - David used to complain that I put too many ornaments on the tree, but this year I probably only put 1/2 of the ornaments on that we have.

The teen girl from our church who has been having seizures had appendicitis this week so they took her appendix out on Thur. and they sent her home on Fri. so I took the throw over to her this morning and she really liked it. Poor kid.

I'm with Maryz; I don't think I'm going to do much baking this year as I am the one who eats the majority of it! And like Miriam, I have my fleece lined jeans in use.

Pat and Suzette - I hope all goes well with the Tamoxifen and other treatments and scans that you all are going through.

Have a wonderful weekend,
Karlene

The craft show was nice, almost already sold out though LOL DD found a couple cute things and we had cookies and punch and I visited with my DEXSIL, she's my favorite :o) we visited for at least an hour, a very nice time. It is cold here. Brrrrrrr. We're leaving in a little bit to go see the light parade.
I hope you all have a nice weekend.
Tina
