SUPPER CLUB - Friday, Nov 15th

Post by purrfect-lady » Fri Nov 15, 2013 3:00 am

November is already half over! I just can't believe it! our Scottie is 16 weeks old today. He's had us now for 9 whole weeks. today is rabies day. We thought we'd be smart and took him for a good work out at the dog park just before dusk yesterday. he played hard with another pup and then slept the evening away. Aahhhhhh... A blissful, quiet evening. And then it was all over at 0400 this morning when he'd had enough sleep and decided it was time to play! on the bed. The cat was not amused. And neither was I!

CAROL - glad you're back at the table with us and feeling better. No more frozen peas for you!

DH wanted to eat up the leftover casserole last night so tonite will be new food - those meatballs in cream gravy over noodles, I think. That's my plan, anyway. I reserve the right to veer from my menu if something better pops up!

What's your plan?

Good afternoon from a very sunny, slightly warmer, SW. Pa....Looking out the window, it looks like a purrrfect autumn day.....

Of course Jim couldn't wait to get outside and play with the leaves..Me, I'm content to stay right inside and sip my cup of tea.....

Mary, it's hard to believe Scottie is that old already..Around here it's usually Jim getting up early and "Baby Girl" and I aren't amused...I can't get up until I know for sure the newspaper has been delivered and the coffee is done.....

Carol, so glad you're back to normal and the peas are where they should be....We really do miss you and need to hear your words of wisdom......

Tonight's dinner is a little up in the air (as most days)...I know there's probably something hidden in the back of the frig but not sure if we dare eat it...So, it could be a pizza night or soup and sandwich....It's hard to decide right after you've had lunch....

Happy eating.............

Good morning!

It is snowing - gray here and cold too! At least it is not sticking to the ground - but might by Sunday!

I made minestrone soup last night and there is enough for dinner tonight - so I am out of the kitchen - except that I may make my Cannoli Cake for afters - we shall see - if I want it bad enough to clean up the kitchen again after I make it! LOL

Enjoy!
