A Chuckle For the Day....

Post by dsf618 » Thu Nov 14, 2013 3:32 pm

Bernie's son and daughter, Michael and Lauren, and Lauren's boyfriend from Austria are coming for Christmas. So is his ex-wife Linda!!! Yes, I know I am stupid.....

This afternoon when we announced this to Jim and Robbyn, Robbyn's response was, "so what are we supposed to do with her?"

I have been trying to figure out that one myself.....

Deb, it should be an interesting holiday! I get to socialize now and then with my late DH#2's ex. you see, his son married my DD and so she is occasionally at family functions like the grandkids' birthdays. Families are always interesting if not especially fun!

I just talked to Kathy last night and she pretty much is having the same "problem"...It seems her fellow has 3 kids (all grown) and he wants everyone to be together on Thanksgiving, with he and Kathy cooking...Well, the youngest daughter lives with his ex, her Mom, and doesn't want to leave her alone so Kathy said bring her along....She said "more the merrier".....
I think if everyone remained friends, then it's not a problem......But it is kind of funny, isn't it?

Deb,
I am pretty sure that with all the drama that you have been through lately this should be a piece of cake for you. Have a very happy time, relax and just enjoy.

WeeOne, her response was to prop her up in a corner and then make her play fetch with Cleo! Won't work!!
