Hump Day October 30,2013

Post by fabricgirl » Tue Oct 29, 2013 10:11 pm

Good Morning Everyone,

Everything went well yesterday I started applying pressure yesterday now the hard work starts PT 3 day a week for 4 weeks and if all goes well I can return back to work on the 18th of November.

I finished my Big bag/diaper bag and the changing pad that goes with it now on to the quilt top it's only a panel so it should go by quick.

We have some errands to do today and then when I come home I will start the quilt top.

I Hope Everyone Has A Great Day.
Lois

Good morning Mary, Lois and those that follow.
I am off today and boy can I use it. I am going to finish up the breast cancer quilt and wash it. Maybe even start my nephew's wedding present. That is a lot to do for me lately but hopefully it will happen. Have a wonderful day. I will check back later.

Good morning everyone. Lois and Suzette you both sound busy and in good spirits.
Not much going on here, rainy and chilly, but no snow.
It was such a. Great surprise to see Mo.
Myles. Is so so. He can't keep food down. Fr. Says he has to drink 3 pedisure a day but he just can't. She'll is calling this morning. I am really not sure what is going to happen.
I saw cousin heather out riding one of those big three wheel bikes with the basket on it the other day. It was great to see her out.
Torrie is doing well, still no information on chemo and or radiation
I hope everyone has a beautiful day.
The photos of the breast cancer blocks are lovely. Thanks for sharing them
Remember to get that mamo.
Prayers and positive thoughts going out to one and all

Good Morning everyone, we woke up again to much needed rain. It is such a blessing.

Since I don't have commitments today, maybe I can get some uglies and sewing done today.

Please pray for our nephew, he's on his way to Duke for more cancer treatments--maybe. He has been through radiation and 3 rounds of chemo. We don't know what kind of treatment or surgery he might have. The cancer is growing so fast, treatments haven't helped any.
Thanks Redtop

Good Morning 36 and partly cloudy here,,,,I went to bed early last night and slept 9 1/2 hours///feel much better today....I will head to the gym wirh Ken...He is swimming 1 hour today. I don't go near a bathing suit so I work in the gym. I get on the treadmill and watch the Drs if it is on...funny I have learned a few things from them...

Today we will run a few errands after the gym and come home to a few uglies.....I still have a lot of windows to do....(16) but it will get done....Tomorrow we pick up Sophia at preschool and keep her for the afternoon...Her parents are doing the school Halloween parties...She goes to a Lutheran preschool that does not celebrate halloween, so we just might go to Target,,,her favorite place to shop.

I might get time to take the quilts down to annebelle today...at least get them down there and set her up/ I have 4 to quilt now....

Hope you all have a great day,,,,Hope your prayers are answered...XXXOOO

Good Morning Girls

Still dark here, but I'm up! Going back to work after a good day off! Got the errands done and went down to spend time with Auntie. After I left she asked my sister "Who was that that came to see me?" She was telling me that my folks stayed in her apartment a long time ago when they were on vacation. Funny in a way, but sad to see her so unhappy about where she is. The home where she lives in brand new and gorgeous... I'm tempted to put myself on the waiting list. My sister works there and so loves her job there and all the residents love her to pieces.

Came home after stopping at Walmart to find a Halloween costume for work tomorrow---going as a Witch, because that's all I could find and think of.. kind of boring, but at least it's something. Since it was my idea to have a Costume Contest I thought I better dress up as something. Even snuck in a little sewing time on the Twin Sister Quilt-have 25 blocks done for 1 of them and started the sashing around last night. After the uglies are done this weekend I'll hopefully get at least one top done and be able to post a picture.

Lois...Yahooo for good news from the Dr. Does your ankle hurt putting pressure on it? Are you looking forward to going back to work?

Judi... I vote for Target too! Yesterday Walmart had all their CHRISTMAS candy out! It's coming way too fast.. Haven't even started my Christmas list yet.. what to get for whom. Going to be a tough year as the Grands already have so many toys and gadgets and don't need clothes!

Chrissy... prayers continue for Myles. How great to see Heather out and about!

Tess... Will put your nephew on my prayer list too!

MaryR...Happy Hump day to you too!!

Suzette... Enjoy your day off! Spending it in your studio? Color me green!

Chriss.. Auntie remembered me, I think. She wanted me to write down her address and when I did.. she INSISTED she did not live in Burnsville, MN. I don't know where she thinks she lives but it's not Burnsville. She keeps wanting to see her bank statement, but Annie takes care off all her bills. Don't feel bad, I've never had Chicken and dumplings either--tho my Dad made an awesome Chicken Pot Pie! Maybe we should head down to Cindy's!

Time for me to fly... .find something to take for lunch and put my work face on.

Wishing you all a most wonderful day.

Good morning, good morning,
Victoria did call yesterday so I loaded the car up and took things up to her. Baby girl is moving down so she is on the sciatic nerve most of the time and Victoria is ready to hold this baby.

Since I went to see her yesterday, I'll be peeling apples this morning and putting dumplings together this afternoon.

Have a wonderful Wednesday,
Karlene
